More economical than the brand name bags.
These bags work well with my vacuum sealer and the price is better than I have found elsewhere. I much prefer the bags to the rolls. I don't like to have to cut and seal before I can fill a bag and I can't seem to cut them the right length. Nothing worse than making a bag that isn't long enough to seal and I do that a lot with the rolls. I keep pint, quart and gallon sized bags on hand for different uses. The pints are perfect for my smoked salmon fillets or a boneless chicken breast. Quarts are usually the right size for packaging a steak, all seasoned up and ready for sous vide cooking. The gallon bags work well for an average sized roast or larger steaks. We keep quite a bit of meat in our freezers and it stores so much better if it is vacuum sealed. I have kept smoked cheese for months in the refrigerator using them. It's nice to be able to get them for such a reasonable price so we can use them for many different things. We have eliminated a substantial amount of food waste by extending the shelf life by using them. The only negative things I can say about them is they will puncture if the food has sharp edges. I have had bags fail with T bone steaks and dried peppers. Pretty understandable and we avoid using them for those types of things.

Super Bags!!
I have been using bags for my Food Saver for years! The name brand ones are great but sooo expensive! When I saw these on Amazon, I thought I should check them out. Pricing is fabulous and they are definitely high-quality bags. I highly recommend the bag and the company. The air was completely evacuated from the bag, the seal was 100% along the edge and off to the freezer it went.Hint for perfect sealing every time: I always fold down the open end, creating a cuff of 1 to 2-inches, before putting food into the bag. This keeps the end of the bag clean and ready for sealing. If there is food or grease on the part you are trying to seal, this will cause a sealing issue. Not the bag's fault but the fault of the user... Try it next time.

Inconsistent quality has gotten worse over time
This brand was my go-to bag for several years dot-dot-dot when I ran out, I would just click order again! However, the last several batches that I have ordered have lost their seal about a quarter of the time. I bought some name-brand bags, thinking that it might be my device rather then these bags, but the name brand work fine. I've ruined some food thanks to the inconsistent quality, and will no longer buy this brand. Maybe you will have more luck than me.

Bags or Rolls? Bags save you time, Rolls save you (some) money
These bags are very easy to use, and long enough to be useful in many vacuum sealing applications. If you're sealing some french bread, well, you'll want a roll for that so you can create a custom-sized bag.The real hang up with rolls is that you have to seal BOTH ends (master of the obvious), so sealing takes almost twice as long.Bags, on the other hand, limit what you can store. But I've found that they are long enough to cover most single-item sealing requirements.

A great buy, a good size
Update 1/16--Price dropped, ordering more. These are so perfect. I even re-use if had something dry in it before. Keep using for smaller items til all gone. I use for fridge items too for longer lasting freshness. I split my loaves of bread into smaller portions & refrigerate or freeze until needed. What a savings from stale, dry, moldy bread! Another plus--sealed items take up less room. Never a problem with these bags so far. I need to find a bag holder to stand up the bags while pouring soup or liquidy contents. I stand in freezer until somewhat solid & then seal so the liquid doesn't get sucked out & make a mess.Orig review: Great bags, good size for most items. These can be boiled or microwaved so saves on dishes when re-heating. Seem to be very good quality, seal easily. I use these with the Food saver & the size is the same and substantially cheaper than the name brand bags. You get a lot so I got plastic shoebox-type containers with an attached flip lid and split all these & 2 rolls between two for easy access & clean storage.

Inconsistent
Went through 23 bags to seal 10 items! I went out and bought brand name bags thinking maybe my machine. Other brand worked just fine. When it did seal, it worked great. Unfortunately when I have to go through so many bags to seal one item it's a waste of money.

What's in a name? Not much when compaing vacuum bags
I was a little concerned about buying a non-Foodsaver bag to use with my Foodsaver machine. Let me tell you that those concern's have been put to rest. These bags are as good or better than the Foodsaver bags that I've used in the past. The thickness are about the same, seals as well as the name brand bag and best of all it's at a fraction of the cost of the name brand bag....I will be ordering more of these in various sizes.

vacuum mr up Scotty!
Giving it a 5 as these are my next go to bags when my existing low supply runs out. I have a much older sealer and the bags always sealed well in the past and both the sealer and the bags did a great job working together in protecting my frozen whatevers. I expect the same of these replacements. HATE TO BE FREEZIING STUFF AND YOU RUN OUT OF BAGS!
