Great book for beginners

This is great book to practice to master the division skills.

This is just for speed and accuracy. It has about 20-25 problems per page. This is not a book for teaching division.

We love Kumon books, but this one is a little easier for my third grader. It's right that children find learning easier when they tackle one skill set at a time. But when my daughter did half way of this book, she thought it includes too much easy practice, and she just needed more advanced math drills. When we found Beestar, she was very glad. She really likes the math programs on Beestar (a wonderful website). They not only teach the conventional math, but also give you the context and the thoughts behind the principles. My daughter's math sense and division skills are improved significantly since we used Beestar.

My daughter's math teacher at school is lousy, so I bought this workbook for my daughter while I was teaching her division at home. Unfortunately, this book is just a bunch of division problems, but there is nothing to help teach division! I can just as easily generate division problems on the computer or even write them out. Also, it was written with number sentences. I wanted to expose her to both number sentences and stacked problems.For improving speed, I simply used the free printable worksheets on the Beestar website. They are probably the best among the many learning sites. Their worksheets are well-designed and have both time and accuracy targets set for your child to practice. If you are like me, you will be glad to find that sometimes free stuff is even better.

fast delivery.I buy kumon books for my daughter in all subjects that are available.she enjoys doing them (most of the times).these are very structured books and fun to do.t.she just finished year 4 this and moving to year 5.she improved a lot since she has been doing kumon books.in her final report she did 4c and 4b in all subjects. she used to go to kumon centre,she did not liked it and found it boring.more important that we had to pay £50 for each subject. now we do not have to travel to the centre and he can work on these books at her paste.very pleased.I would recommend them
