5 times now it did not record vital footage, the most incriminating footage simply not there.The problem is that the recorded sections are only 60 seconds long. Not all recorded footage is 60 seconds, lengths very and are inconsistent. Then there is also a gap between the next recorded section. The gap is only 2 to 5 seconds, but a lot can happen in that time that is not recorded. And if you hit the save button it cuts off a few seconds before you hit the button, again cutting off vital footage.There is no way to increase recorded length time. It does not have an internal battery, so when I disconnect it from the power source it defaults to factory settings so the time is wrong. Does not connect to a computer, No way to update firmware. No way to contact the company that makes it.Not worth the price.

I have enjoyed mine although i haven't had all the trouble that some folks have had. That being said, I recently learned how to do the firmware update on the unit. for those that cant read Korean, here is the deal. download the zip file from the website. unblock it and unzip it-copying the files to the root of the microSD card for the camera. boot up the camera and it will automatically see the update files and begin the update. it takes 2 boots on the camera which is about 10 minutes. It has been a few months now with this blackcam installed on my GTR. I'm giving it a 1 star until something is done with my issue. The rear camera is continuously having problems and not displaying properly. I don't know if it is the rear camera or the cord it self but I don't get a clean picture and a constant fuzzy or uncontrollable shaking from the display. The front camera works fine but the rear is a problem and it started doing this about 2 month ago. Seller, please send me a new rear camera and cord. There is no contact info for warranty and this is a problem. Thanks.

I expected this camera to be a better much better device than what it was. Rear camera stopped working after a few weeks. Amazon immediately sent me a replacement. The rear camera didn't work at all on the second camera. Amazon was great and I was able to easily return both cameras for a full refund. Prior to contacting Amazon, I attempted to contact the manufacturer but was unable to get any response from them. I have no idea why this unit is so expensive. It is junk.

I purchased this in June 2016 and, sadly, didn't install it until a few weeks later. Setting up was easy; both front and rear cameras always remained solidly attached to the windshields. After about 1 month of usage, the rear camera's feed stopped appearing in the front camera's display. The USB cable was still connected into it, but the connector on the inside of the camera had fallen off from the board. The front camera's build is solid, the rear camera's build is not.I live in CO; this was installed in a BMW coupe. I do not recommend this product. The time window for an exchange has elapsed. Pondering options here...

excellent cam - has saved my ass a few times already in LA from all the crazy stupid drivers out there! rear cam helps analyze the situation when you need to review the footage. clips are broken up into small segments and important "bumps" are saved in their own category as well. you're really only paying more than the average dash cam for the rear cam here, and it definitely pays off having views from both the front and the back!!

Camera has been really buggy for the last few months. The rear cam is constantly connecting and disconnecting and the main unit sometimes shuts off in the middle of a drive . I need a camera that works all the time in case of an accident.UPDATE: the rear camera does not work at all anymore. Waste of money

I paid $200 to a specialist to install the camera properly. Ater it was mounted the whole camera stop functioning in few days! Diagnoses concluded that the back camera is compeletly broken and the 3 ways cable which it conect the front camera to the back one and also to the battery was malfunctioning. My only option is to use the cigaret lighter cable directly to the front camera. A brand new camera! I called Amazon customer service and they offered me to return for refunds, but wait I have to pay unmauting the camera and take out the cable that is been placed through the car, another $200 bucks out of pocket!
