This spicy aromatic herb is well known for its soothing therapeutic properties regarding the nervous and digestive systems. Verbena is considered to be an excellent remedy for calming an upset stomach, reducing flatulence and easing colic pain. Verbena proves a highly diuretic aid, and may help in weight loss by increasing fat oxidation. Whole hand picked flowers, caffeine free with no artificial fragrances. Apart from natural drying, this product has not undergone any processing. Preparation for best results: Use approximately 1 gram (1 full teaspoon) for each cup required. Add fresh water just before boiling (90ºc) and let stand for 5 minutes. Add honey as a natural sweetener according to taste. Serve hot or chilled.
