I enjoy using these. I purchased these over a year ago, we use them regularly and they are still look the same as the date they arrived. Very heavy, durable & well made. The ridged surface helps keep the food hot without continuing to cook it. The skillets are already perfectly preseasoned, which makes them very easy to clean; all I do is very light dish soap, a quick rinse under warm water, then immediately hand dry them & apply a light coat of oil using a paper towel.To get the sizzling sound & smoke, I place them empty in the oven at 350F while preparing Fajitas, then take them out carefully and place each on the included durable wooden tray, drop a little olive oil on the hot pan before placing the Fajitas.The handle mittens shown in my pictures did not come with the skillets & were purchased separately. You will need to purchase them if you are planning to serve these hot.

I love these skillets. I first used them for steak fajitas and my guests were impressed by the sizzling sound the food made. Next, after grilling steaks on my outdoor pit, I sautéed onions and mushrooms and served on skillets. Going to use my imagination and prepare other dishes such as scalloped and fried potatoes, shrimp scampi, grilled vegetables and anything else I want to served piping hot. I think the wood plates are sturdy and with care, should last a long time. Exceeds my expectations!

all they are missing is the mittens

They were nice pretreated sets. Perfect for restaurant style sizzlers.My husband made perfect vegan sizzlers on them. Amazing!!!Cons: guage is not that heavy...have to clean well and oil treatment we have to give before storing back.Overall 5 stars

LOVED these so much we bought 8 more for dinner party presentation. Friends see them and buy them too. Versatile and great for steaks and chops.

We use for sliced barbecue pork and chicken with rice (Korean dishes). It works great!
