e1.s adapter works fine
I ended up with an e1.s ssd and didn't have anything to connect it to, found a lot of adapters that looked similar, but this one was cheapest so I figured it was less risk if nothing worked out. Since I wasn't familiar with the form factor I didn't realize that this adapter (like most of them) was designed for the 5.9mm thick version of e1.s, which is a bare board, while I had a 15mm thick drive, complete with a heatsink and different mount holes. I could have just removed the drive from the heatsink, but I found that I could screw through from the back of the adapter, through the SSD circuit board, and into the top half of the 15mm heatsink, which is where most of the fins are. I should have drilled out the mount bosses on the adapter cards to remove the threads, but instead I did the janky thing and threaded the screw through the bosses and into the heatsink, which will prevent everything from fully tightening down, but it seems to work.I only have a PCIe 3.0 host to test, but the SSD came up fine with an x4 link and works great, plus unlike some other inexpensive NVMe adapters I have bought it also fits correctly in the slot and chassis.

This is part of a new Super Computer I built
This is part of a new Super Computer I built. Intel did not know if this product would work for their SSD PCIe hard drive, I tried it and IT WORKS GREAT! There are connections on the card for a cable for power and data but it is not needed as the PCIe slot takes care of the needs. I informed my tech's at Intell which they were very pleased to know. I will use this again and have told a few computer hardware suppliers to use this product. All this hardware technology is much more advanced then the programs. The new computer is not much better then the older Super Computer Because of the software not keeping up. I will have to hope the software will advance to the hardware. I highly recommend this product for the PCIe slot with the Intel SSD it is a great combination. Scott Singer Florida Film, Photography & Design

Great product for niche market.
Works great with a 1.2TB Intel 750 series. Currently only using it on PCIe gen 2, getting 1200MBps W/R. New model (v2.1 on card) does not need power cable connected. Also in regards to shipping, my estimate to Ohio was almost 2 months (!) but it came in 10 days.

Works fine as long as you plug in a 4-pin Molex power plug
I bought this in order to attach a 2.5" form factor NVMe SSD (Intel 750) to a PC which does not have a drive bay for 2.5" NVMe SSDs.This product works as long as you attach a 4-pin Molex plug to the 4-pin Molex socket on the card.Normally, this shouldn't be needed as SSDs don't draw all that much power, but for this product it is definitely needed and there should be an informational sheet enclosed which spells this out, but there wasn't.

Lost 2 brand new SSDs while using this adapter
EDIT: After loosing my second Intel DC 3520 2TB to this adapter, I'm beginning to think that it may not be Intel's fault. The SSDs were well within their life expectancy (99.9% left). While correlation isn't causation, the correlation seems to be pretty high.Old review below:I was a bit nervous ordering such a odd product from a brand I've never heard of before. Funtin promptly answered my questions regarding compatibility. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of this adapter. I'm getting full advertised speeds on my Intel PC3520 2TB 2.5"(used as a boot drive for Win10). It feels like it was built really well, the PCB is nice and solid. If the PCB was black it would have a more premium aesthetic.UPDATE:I am several months into ownership and regular use. Everything is still working as new.Another update:I am almost a year into ownership and the product is still working flawlessly.

Awesome adapter! Please bring it back Funtin!
Apapter works great! Also one of the only options out there if you want to use an 8639 2.5' nvme drive in a desktop or server. It fits perfect in any x4, x8 or x16 pcie slot (operates at x4). Like another reviewer mentioned, you must plug in the power adapter for it to work.I saw that they are currently not available on Amazon. PLEASE BRING IT BACK! I love it and will buy more!

Works!
Works great and no cable connection required.Cons: if any. The typical green pcb. LED activity light instead of a two pin plug to splice to your hdd activity light in the front work with it without desoldering the LED and solder the spice in place of it isnt hard if you know a bit of PC DIY.
