Greek Corinthian Armor Helmet with Plume

Just a few quick notes, but I hope to post pictures later. The helmet arrived today with the black and white hair crest with the triangle shapes. The helmet is steel (silver) in color as pictured and has no oil on it. There is no liner inside, and I'll have to assemble some sort of liner to wear it as it is very heavy and uncomfortable. The crest is a separate piece and must be attached via two screws to the top of the helmet. Not that this means if you want to just wear the Corinthian style helmet with no crest, that's easy to do.So, what I got today really does look like the pictures on Amazon, and I think that it is quite a value for being under $50. But, you can't wear it out of the box unless you want a headache and perhaps a bit of brain damage.

I like living history and this helmet added the the great look of my library of ancient history books. It makes you feel you can relive history by looking at it. I've seen ones like this in museums and this one is like museum quality. Totally cool!

Amazing..great quality and after scuffing it a bit, letting some Mustard oxidize on it is looking battle worn an awesome in my office. I always get complemented. Wish they carried the other style Corinthian Helm too

Well made. The crest came in very bent up.The crest is NOT the same crest in the picture advertisement for this product. I ordered it based on the look it has in the pic.

It arrived with a few chips to the finish, but nothing major, and all smaller then 2cm/0.5in. They'd be easy to fix in less then 5 minutes.I'm returning it because of the fit. It is Very tall. The cheek pieces hit my collar bones before my eyes ever get to the eye hole. Compared to the photo, the bottom of the nosepiece hits right between the eyes.
