Failed multiple times
I purchased this producted 2 years back till now its failed two times and again 3rd time recently i lost my data every time but only best thing in this hdd is 5 years warranty

👎Failed within an year & half. Best to stay away from all Seagate.
🔹️Before the widespread availability of Sata SSDs , I have used almost all types of 7200 rpm hard drives with favourite being Hgst & worst being this one.This one being my first solid state hybrid drive though.🔹️Over contemporary HDD , these hybrid drives have a solid state cache memory 128 MB, that keeps a record of files & applications you use most & hence have slight faster load times or data transfer rates.🔹️It came inbuilt with my HP omen laptop as a secondary drive to a primary nvme drive.🔹️Within year it developed 28 bad sectors & its health declined to like 78 % as per my hard disk sentinel software.The inbuilt algorithm shifted the data in those parts elsewhere over disk.🔹️By year & half it has now 144 bad sectors & health has gone down to just 17 %. My software started giving warning to backup all data as the drive can fail anytime now.🔹️I bought crucial 1TB MX500 SSD against it & am now in process of filing warranty claims.☝️Earlier also i had bad experiences with seagate external hard disks.❗This failure confirmed not to take side with seagate in future , so not recommended.

Used product and not guaranteed by the manufacturer
The frustration-free packaging is a real joke, you receive a hard drive in bubble wrap, the drive is in an already opened anti-static bag. When I checked the serial number on the manufacturer's website, it was no longer even covered by a warranty!

Check model number before you install.
Did not recieve the correct item as the order stated Barracudapro MODEL ST1000LMZ49and have recieved Barracuda MODEL ST1000LM049The Specification appears to be similar apart from the product description.Shame I only noticed after installing otherwise this would have been returned.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo
Secondo me uno dei migliori articoli nel formato proposto: 2,5", 1 TB, 128 MB di cache. Ottimo per sostituire un vecchio HD in un portatile o per qualsiasi altro uso nel quale sia importante la performance, senza che siano compromesse altre caratteristiche, come ad esempio l'affidabilità. Per l'affidabilità bisogna tener conto che gli SSD non sono MAI convenienti nel rapporto qualità prezzo, altre sono le valutazioni da farsi per un loro acquisto, ad esempio le finalità d'uso, essendo consapevoli che per i prodotti che garantiscono una maggiore affidabilità nel tempo il prezzo sale in maniera esponenziale.
