Stock 6418 bulb from my Saab on right.This new LED 6418 on the left. As you can see the new bulb is about 3mm too short which is significant.Bulb does not install securely in the lamp holder.There’s play, and it falls right out, whereas the original bulbs snap in under spring tension.

Physically these bulbs are almost exactly the same length as what they are replacing. The stock bulbs are more like 30 mm, so these are 1mm longer. The big difference is, the stock bulbs came to a point where the pointed tips fit THROUGH the small holes in the contacts. The tips on these are much larger, making for a very tight fit. My cargo light has a switch on the end that moves the whole bulb's contact either against or away from the charged rail. With the tight fit of these in place, that switch no longer operates. In the case of my dome light, this bulb does not even come close to the hole in the contact. However, the bulb is jammed in so tightly it may take a nuclear blast to cause it to fall out. I had to attempt to seat it with needle-nose pliers and a jeweler's screwdriver. Perhaps now I should leave the light on for an hour and melt a little solder in the joint. And yes, the LED chips DO get quite warm to the touch!

I bought this to replace the bulb on the dome light of my 2007 Honda Accord. The bulb I originally had was so dull and yellow that when it was lite, it did not even appear to be on. These were a great price and took the chance on buying them, I am glad I did! Some of the previous reviews stated that they were not the exact size but the ones I got, were the same and fit just perfectly. The light was easy to replace. Just pop it in to the dome and it works. It’s a bright white light so I was actually able to see. I can’t comment on longevity yet because it has only been two days. I would definitely buy again.

Although it comes with a note that the LEDs have polarity and you need to reverse it in case it didn't turn on, I just checked both ways and they turned on no matter what. High quality contacts and really good brightness level. I checked it before putting it in my car to see if it gets hot, just left it on with a 12v battery and barely gets warm. No can bus error. All good. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  WAY brighter than the halogen bulb I just replaced. The one down side is that the clip in the housing of my 1996 Crown Victoria trunk Light is not super sturdy, which allows the pointed ends of the new light to slide back and forth, and the bulb could possibly rotate and not point straight down (which it needs to) over time due to vibrations and general driving. The halogen bulb it’s replacing has a flat wire fitting on both ends to keep it in place properly. See photos and video.

I purchased these on 6/9/21 and now, not quite a year later one of the bulbs looks like a strobe light. I tried to return or replace them but it says it's not eligible even though it says in the description: "Within 1 year no hassle service on returns or refund. You do have to make sure they are directed appropriately. They are bright and expected to last a long time. I was tired of replacing the "LL" long-life bulbs every other year. Very happy with the product and would buy again - I just won't have to because the LED should outlast the 2005 passat.

Good brightness, direct fit. However, they only lasted a year. Still cheaper, but a bit disappointing
