Amy and the Missing Puppy (1) (The Critter Club)

This book was a delight to read! The illustrations enhance the story and keep your attention throughout the book. Kids will love reading about the Critter Club. I plan to purchase more books by this author and illustrator. I highly recommend this book, and encourage readers to read all books by this dynamic writing/illustrating duo.

We love The Critter Club books. I have a 3rd grader who loves animals. She struggles a little bit with reading but is able to read these books. And, because she's so into the books she wants to read instead of me having to try to force her. The best part is that I enjoy these adorable books too!

Book is a great read for my Kindergartener and 3rd grader. Cute story. Well loved. It is a very cute mystery.

This is a great series about strong, adventurous girls that my 6 yo loves...she is a huge fan of Ivy and Bean and has no patience for the likes of Junie B. Jones...the Critter Club girls and adventures are just her speed! She reads them herself, but when I read them out-loud to her the dialogue and stories are good enough to be interesting to me and not make me cringe like other series marketed to this age-group do!

My daughter (6.5, beginning reader, needs help) love the series and idea. She wishes there were color pictures, though instead of all black & white.

My 4yo loves to have this read to her. It's the perfect early chapter series for kids to listen to and I'm sure when she is older she will love reading these herself. We give this book as a gift to every kid in her class who has a birthday party.

Great book. My 7 year old daughter has just gotten into this series. We read this one together at bedtime and we both enjoyed the plot line. They are definitely easy read, but with good characters and great storylines!

Kids just loved this book.It is humerous and the plot keeps the child engaged and want to read more.
