ProCase Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Case (SM-P600 / P601) - Flip Stand Leather Folio Cover for Galaxy Note 10.1 inch (2014 Edition) Tablet (Black)

I'm very pleased with this case overall. It took me a long time to figure out if this would fit my 2014 Samsung Note tablet (SM-P607T) but I decided to give it a try. It fits beautifully. More snugly than my old case. I don't use my tablet a lot so I don't know about durability but it's pretty good so far:Pros: Fits really well, material is thick and sturdy. Adequate cutouts for charging(open or closed), stylus docking, headphone jack, etc. Holds device more securely than some, unlikely to slip out. Included stylus pen is sleek and works well with the device.Cons: The elastic band for the extra stylus pen sits out pretty far from the device and causes the stylus to snag when taking it in out out of a backpack. I'm worried my stylus will get torn off sometime soon. Would like prettier colors.

Very durable and sturdy case. Buy this case, and then buy the Spen with an eraser, and keep that in the stylus holder.The black material is a faux leather, but doesn't feel cheap. The magnet is the right strength, and it does indeed wake the device when you open it. If you find annoying the screen that appears when you open the case, you can disable it in the Settings (General -> Accessory -> Book Cover -> Daynote (uncheck)).The only complaint is when you fold the cover around to make it a stand, and you try to have it stand at a 30 degree angle from the table (not the pictured 60 degree angle), the cover slides out. I think this is just because the case is new; I expect it to wear a little and not "spring loose" after a while. This is not an issue at all when you use it at the 60 degree angle.At a third of the Samsung price, this is a no-brainer.

Overall, a good case. It fits snugly and is pretty simple to use.Cons:The hand strap could be placed a bit differently. Something doesn't feel natural. Also, you have to dig it out to get it, which is a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preference.The pen/stylus is alright but useless to me. I feel it may be a liability to someone who mistakenly uses the tablet with the pen side if there's no screen protector, but the stylus works fine. It's likely to fall out of the holder unless the pen pocket-clip is tucked on the elastic band but over time that would most likely shred it.The stand works but isn't the most solid. It folds but can be flaky.The edge goes over the screen a bit in some cases making it weird to use some apps/draw/etc.ProsGood feel overallGood quality materialProtectsStandnon-obtrusive to ports, speakers, accessoriesI was disappointed in the range of cases for this model, but this satisfied my requirements the most considering cost

Case arrived on time even with the holiday. It fits well and was a great replacement for my well-worn case. It seems to be well made and a solid case. And being black it helps hide any prints from the grandkids (old one was white so you can imagine). I also like that there is an opening for the cable to be able to charge it when closed. Old case didn't have that. Well worth it and would definitely buy again.

While I'm sure it isn't real leather (it is too perfect for this price) this is a very nice case for the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. It took me a moment to figure out that there is velcro holding the top of the retainer. Peel that loose to slide your tablet in and then reattach the velcro to hold it in place.This case comes with a stylus and an elastic band at the top to hold it. I'm not sure why because the Samsung has its own special "S-Pen" stylus. The stylus that is included with the case doesn't work as well as the Samsung included S-Pen; however the Pro Case stylus includes a ballpoint pen that does write on paper, so it is useful for that anyway.There is also an elastic band sewn inside the front cover. I'm not sure what that is for. I suppose it could hold some note paper or something. Business cards maybe? No instructions were included with this case but it is simple enough and needs none.

This tablet case is not the greatest thing ever, but it is decent enough for a good starter case for my new Note tablet.Pros:1. Relatively lightweight2. Thin, could be a little thinner/lighter but not bad3. Fits tablet well, leaves ports and buttons exposed properly4. Elastic strap to hold device in vertical position is a great conceptCons:1. The included stylus/pen is made poorly and is just a bad idea. I am not sure why I need an ink pen to carry around with my tablet. If I was going to be writing on paper I would likely have some kind of padfolio that would already have a place for a pen. I believe I will just cut off the elastic made to hold the pen.2. The Elastic strap to hold the tablet in the vertical orientation is at a bad angle. It is okay but could be implemented much better.3. The piece of faux leather material that spans across where the physical home key and capacitance keys for back and settings is not designed correctly. I think it needed some kind of reinforcement to function correctly.As it is it gets in the way of those keys. Perhaps it would be best if there was some way that it could just not be there.Overall the pros easily outweigh the cons. I would easily recommend this case with the few minor reservations stated above.

My old cover fell apart after a few years of use and it was not sold anymore. So I have to look for a new brand. I'm glad to find this ProCase cover. The fit is perfect and the price is fantastic. It looks sturdy but is not heavy. It does add some volume to get the protection. Not a big deal for me. Only wish the flap at the back is a bit larger so it would be easier to fold the front cover to the back.
