Protected well in shipment
It's a little more than a beginner forge. Burns very hot, melts copper down very quickly. Shipped very fast, less than 24 hours. Perfect for a tools for liking DIY things as I am. Seems to do what I use it for. Easily adjustable temperature. I am a skilled tradesman, so it may come a little easier to me, but, I do recommend this. Get extra crucibles for different metals though.

Stopped working?
Would be a 5 star rating because it worked like a charm right out of the box, for a total of about 4 hours, maybe. Went to turn it on to heat up, and when the heat got up to about 900*c it stopped and slowly started dropping. It will not heat, and honestly the instruction/manual pages it came with are seriously lacking. The photos demonstrating how to check the heating coil are about 1"x 1" and in black and white, and couldn't have been taken with anything more than a 1 megapixel camera by someone with shaky hands. Some support on this matter and being back to normal would make this a 5 star rating. If its the heating coil, sub-par material had to be the main cause of failure; i know it's getting very hot, and essentially taking a ton of abuse in a very short period of time due to the temperature, but it should definitely last ALOT longer than 4-5 hours.

Not what I was expecting.
The Crucible tongs will not fit The Crucible and the instructions are all in Chinese. Sending it back and we'll see if the replacement is as described.

Use limitation
Received today, sooner than I expected. Well packaged not a scratch. The instructions warn not to use more than 30 min at max.. Not sure if that's going to be doable. Heated upto 1800 F for a test...no problems. Crucible too narrow for Al cans.
