It says ground chaga, but this is a fine powder that is easy to eat. Chaga usually tastes like dirt but this is neutral and the best I've had yet, though I wouldn't call it good tasting, like reishi, cordyceps, shitake, or maitake. I take it because it's the king of the medicinal mushrooms. I just hope it stays available, since every time I look for chaga the brands have changed. The only other fine powder I had was the Nordic Chaga, which is no longer available. This chaga does have references to itself as chaga extract and wild crafted, but it says raw and it's not a fine enough powder to be a hot water extract. Siberian chaga is probably wild harvested rather than grown, too.

I’ve drank lose chaga tea almost daily for a few months now. When my tea ran out, I decided I’d try this Siberian chaga for the first time. To be honest, the texture and look of it didn’t seem familiar. Also, it smelled and tasted like wood chips. It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t taste like the chaga tea I’m used to drinking. Nothing special, just okay.

Received my package today, however the package had a hole at the bottom of the bag, the sad part is that I’m now out of money because I can’t return the package

I bought this product to add into my daily regimen to build up my immune system. I use 1/4 tsp in a cup of tea, or warm water each morning. You can add some honey for flavor if you aren't adding it to an already flavored tea. Dissolves well....love this!

Great value for money

First bag was good, but second order it wasn't ground - more like loose tea - and it tastes awful. Contacted seller for return, but got no response. Very disappointing.
