Loved it
This was an excellent book great story I’m really glad I chose this as my first light novel I’d been putting it off for so long but this has opened so many doors for me.

It is a good read.
Not as interesting as the novels before or after.9 is very good and 10 is as amazing as 5.Genius in regards to keeping you guessing. White and the Demon Lord are awesome. 11 is worth the buy, but just a filler.Incidentally the manga is worth buying as well. I am looking forward to the anime, but I don't have high hopes for it.

Back to being good again
While not as good as volumes 1 - 5, it better than volume 6. Though the plot feels a bit slow in this one and the ending makes me want to read the next volume as soon as possible to find out what happens next.

Still good
I can’t get enough of this series! Okina Baba keeps things entertaining, despite us ultimately knowing how things turn out since we had the stories focusing on the humans earlier in the series. Now we’ve made it to Volume 8!I’ve gotta say, I’m really enjoying seeing things fleshed out more in these recent volumes. I think focusing more on White and the rest of the Demon Lord party instead of hopping from the spider story to the human story and back again really allows for more character development to occur. We get to see Sophia, as well as Ariel, the Demon Lord herself, and of course White grow.Sophia I think, is one of the more interesting of the bunch. She has so much she;s dealing with, not only from her past life, but the current one as well: she was bullied and ridiculed daily back in her past life, and in this one, she’s had basically her entire world ripped from her, apart from Mera. To see how that affects how…it’s tough. Not to mention how her upbringing might not have been the best, though I suppose nature vs nurture could also be looked at here. We know how she ends up due to the “S” stories about the other incarnations, but seeing how she ends up the way she does is wild. Being raised by White, Ariel and Mera turns out to be quite the combo it seems.Speaking of White, with her now being a god and having a fully human form, her life is tougher than ever. And that’s saying something! She’s spent most of her life in fear of death, always on the verge of being killed, and now she’s back to living like that. She isn’t able to even be on her feet long enough to walk down a long road without succumbing to exhaustion, which is a far cry from her being able to outrun enemies dead set on killing her. It’s such a surreal thing to see: A nigh invincible monster that goes from being able to defeat most of her enemies with no effort, to not being able to even walk for an extended amount of time. let alone fight. Even little Sophia is able to do more than her.I honestly never thought the day would come where she was so underpowered!Aside from White’s trials as a weakling, we get to see more of the behind the scenes things happening with a younger Ms. Oka, and her quest to gather the reincarnations, the battles between the adventures and the “antagonist” of this Volume. Funny thing is, that antagonist, and I do say that very loosely, is one of those reincarnations: Sasajima Kyouya, the Oni that’s been wreaking havoc this Volume. You can’t help but feel for him the more you learn about his situation and the life he’s lived. I’m interested to learn how things pan out from here with how things wrapped up…

A LOT of whining happens
If you were expecting our Kumoko to suddenly become awesome again, you're in the wrong volume. She spends basically the entire book whining in her head. But rather than being annoying, it's a great look into how the System had supported her throughout her previous adventures and how she's coping now that the metaphorical training wheels have come off and she can't figure out how to ride the bike without them. Not much happens in this volume; it's more of a bridge point in the story.. A kind of check-in on what some the major players are doing and how their goals are progressing. Definitely looking forward to volume 9. From the short summary, it sounds like things will start picking up again. Can't wait.

Another good continuation
More of the same, fun action and character development. Introduces new character and brings back an old one sort of.

Wonderful come together
While the last book brought the many view points of different characters together all at once in a chaotic clashThis novel stabilizes the story adding a length of sense to the constant questions; were is the story going when the characters have such radically different view points and even ideas about what kind of story they are in based on their japanese(manga) preconceptions of sent to another world novels as contrasted by what I'm guessing are the god D's personal interpretations and twists on the world the students find themselves in as experienced by the non-"hero" party

The backstory we needed.
Really love how this expanded on the back story and gave us more insight into characters we had barely seen or heard.

Spoiler
It surprised me that we didn’t reach a conclusion but the story was greatOkina is one of the few authors who I don’t think of alternatives for their stories cause her stories are just so much better than whatever I could come up withAlso I can’t look at Pokémon the same way again

Bom livro
Para quem acompanha a série já sabe o que esperar. A autora não decepcionou neste novo volume. Só achei o livro muito curto, deixa um gostinho de quero mais!
