Good padding for hips
Having a difficult time keeping them in place.

Price almost realistic, pads lasted two weeks, fabric panty doing fine.
I was excited to find these hip protectors. Though I do wish they came in larger sizes. The XL just isn't made for elderly folks who have put on weight. They need to make 2 or 3 sizes larger! Meanwhile, I was able to get these on my mom and was excited that the pads were removable, thinking the pads wouldn't rip from the fabric like the others that cost twice as much. Unfortunately, both pads broke in half during the facility's brutal commercial laundry. Staff at the facility where mom lives were only able to give me three of the 4 pieces back. I tried gluing them together, but the rubber cement glue I tried does nothing on this kind of foam. Now I have cut out the other brands pads from their shredded fabric and inserted them into the GeriHips pockets. This may be the way to go, as the other brand's pads hold up fine. But to buy more GeriHips I really need larger size than XL.
