OK, first off it is what they claim it is. It's a very warm ballcap style hat. You have to have a sense of humor to wear it. Don't get me wrong it is very warm and I love it. Two things you should know is because it is so well insulated it looks a bit over sized. If you have ever seen a horse jockey helmet, you may get the picture. The other thing is there is an emblem on the front of the hat that is not in the picture. It's not very big but, there are 7 words on the emblem, none of which are spelled correctly.The size is adjustable and there are ear flaps for when you need them for the bitter cold or to complete that Elmer Fud look you may be going for.To summarize: the dollar to warmth factor is very high. It looks bigger than a regular ballcap on your head because it is so well insulated. The comical emblem can be removed if you wish. I'm keeping it just for the laugh I get when someone asks about the hat.

The hat had a strong and unappealing smell. It was like a combination of weird food smells and chemicals. It had no label inside indicting the material composition. It doesn't smell like wool. I'm afraid to even put the thing on my head. This product is made in China and was shipped directly from Shanghai. The packaging was just a plastic bag and it didn't come with any paperwork indicating anything about the product or the sale. It's not expensive enough bother to send back, or I would. As it is, I'm going to have to throw it in the trash. Very disappointing. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this product.

I felt the construction is solid and I like the leatherish lip on the bill. The material of the rest of the hat feels good and I have been in the rain for a while and I didn't get wet. The hat is warm, but fits a little on the large size for me. Although it is adjustable for my size 7 3/8" head the hat is a little puffy in the rear. The top of the hat feels full size and is a high dome.

Very warm! This is a ballcap-shaped heavy winter hat. You will sweat if its not COLD or you are very active. That said, it keeps the noggin warm. I'd rate it an A- as its not perfect but its pretty good. It does fit a bit bulk, especially if the ear flaps are folded up, so consider that.

Nice hat. The size chart said it would not quite make it on my giant head. It is a little snug. I can stand it okay. It looks less "Elmer Fudd" than a lot of the hats for winter. I plan to keep it and wear it on very cold days. Mostly because women who are mothers freak out if they see you without a hat on when it's cold.

It's absolutely beautiful, my husband loved it. Looks so much better in person. Love the fabric and it's very well made. Thanks!

Slightly bulky around the ears... But I like the hat with the touch of leather.. Matched my coat
