AGSBLC525 Steel Brake/Fuel/Transmission Line Tubing Coil, 5/16 x 25

This is listed as brake line although I used it on a classic car restoration project as transmission cooler line. It's double walled and can withstand brake line pressure, so for transmission line it's more than adequate since there isn't a lot of pressure in trans lines. On older cars (like my 70's Ford), fuel line is also rigid metal so I used this tube for that also (see photo).It comes coiled but with a little care can be easily straightened. It's is rigid, but it's pliable enough that you can make good 90 degree bends in it. I used a cheap tubing bender successfully but for minor bends you can do those with your hands if you don't care what it looks like.It is also malleable enough that it can be cut and flared to add fittings to.

Excellent for what it got used for. I needed a air line that could be snaked into a milling machine and this fit the bill. The seaming quality is very good and the cost was excellent.
