Small, simple, and functional. Exactly as advertised and photoed. Perfect size for scraps/composting— collects enough things before they get smelly. The main hanging hook works perfect on my cupboard, and having a fully removable lid is a plus. Lid also has a little hook that can hang off the rim or handle when you take it off. Photos attached with regular dinner knife for scale. Has a 3 gallon compostable bag in place.

I really was enjoying this compost bin. It sat conveniently under the sink and was pretty easy to clean and take care of. Then today I put some banana in the compost and pushed it down a bit and the hook on the door snapped. I haven't had it that long and haven't pushed it that hard so I'm giving it 2 stars. Would be 4 if not for the breaking.

I am pretty happy with this compost bucket as it hides underneath and inside the cabinet. It attaches to the door with a piece you can slide the bucket up and off to go dump outside when full. I hated having the compost on the counter top as it takes up space, so this really does help on that. It's easy to empty, clean and replace. The ONLY thing I wish were different, is that the lid were a pop up so you didn't have to pull it off every time, as sometimes my hands are full of scraps to throw inside. More of a "hands free" type of lid, but its really not that much of a bother, just a bit inconvenient when both hands are being used. It would help if I just remembered to take off the lid before cutting my produce, use it when needed, and then replace lid when finished. All in all a really nice product.

I don’t know what I was thinking buying a plastic compost bin for inside the house. Duh….plastic absorbs smells. It was fine for the first few months, but now it stinks. Even when it’s completely empty and freshly washed you can smell an odor. I would love to buy a new one, but the reason I’m composting in the first place is to reduce waste, so getting rid of this and buying a new one does not accomplish my goals. I will continue to use it, but *please* do yourself a favor if you are in the market and get something metal to hold your scraps in the house. On the plus side the lid fits tightly and using this container instead of an open bowl solved my fruit fly problem

Bought for my step dad. He saves all our extra food to feed to our chickens. Before he would have a grocery bag hanging from our pantry door to put the food. It was disgusting and stunk. So I bought him this. This is a life saver. It fits all the food and you can't smell a single thing. (As long as it stays closed)

Until I purchased this, we were putting our compostables into a pot on the stove, uncovered, until there was enough to take to the bin. It was messy, and well...attracted flies. Decided to upgrade to a container meant for the task. I picked this one mostly because of price, less than $20. I didnt realize how versatile it would be. It's currently mounted on the side of the refrigerator, out of the way---but could be used in other ways. There's a gadget to hang it on the outside of a drawer too. Also has a handle. Currently, I slide it off the mount on the refrigerator and put it on the counter if I'm working on something that will generate a lot of material...then I put it back, or take it out to the bin to dump. I'm lining it with a plastic grocery bag to keep it clean. The lid is really nice, keeps it sealed so there are no more fruit flies. I couldnt be more pleased with this item.

This is a great bin for compost. I only wish it were a little larger. It's made from good quality plastic and the lid fits tightly. You can't ask for a lot more from a compost bin.The one issue I had was that the hanger mount will not work to hang inside the cabinet door on some older (early 80's) cabinets, as the mount doesn't allow the bin to hang low enough to clear the edge of the cabinet door frame. However, it comes with two sticky mounts that will stick to just about any flat surface, so you can still mount it inside the cabinet door, or anywhere else you desire.Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this bin unless the 1.3 gallon size is insufficient for you. I think you'll be pleased with the quality and flexible mounting options it offers.

It’s perfect, we have it right on our counter, it looks nice and very easy to use. Easy to clea because the Little too part around it comes off, before I empty it I take that off, empty it in the composer and done! Bring it in and clean it then ready to use again. I’m also very surprised that it does not allow the smell to come out at all. I left it as long as 1 week with everything in there and when I opened it to empty it it was very stinky (obviously) however I wouldn’t have known at all, it kept the smell sealed.

Absolutely ideal in an under sink cupboard. Small, lightweight, compact and completely sealed when lid on. Could not be better.

The small size Bag to Earth liner almost fits into this bin perfectly. I like that the lid fits snug so it doesn't easily dislodge from the bin. It can hang on the outside of the cabinet door but I'll keep it on my counter. I'm happy with this purchase.

We no longer needed a large green bin that sat on the counter and wanted something that could be kept tucked away. This bin hangs on the inside of the door with the hook that comes with it and we just leave the door open when we are preparing meals. It is absolutely true that the smell is contained in the bin - which was good to affirm. Liked it so much that we bought a second one for a friend that also was in need of a smaller green bin. Only comment is that the price is a bit steep. But other than that, we are happy.

It's the perfect size to stick on the inside of my sink cupboard door. Keeps the food waste out of the way and the lid is pretty tight so minimizes any smell. The holder actually sticks (I actually stuck it on the wrong spot, moved it right away and it's still holding after several weeks). Good quality.
