Highly Recommend.
If you love Black Sabbath and in particular the 1970-1978 years with the iconic original lineup then this book is for you! Popoff gives us a thorough and complete look at the Osbourne years which gives you a front row seat. Grab a copy and play the music today.

pretty weak
no real insight into the music. mostly interviews with band and managers, usually complaining about how the critics didn't like them. very little about the music, mostly involving the author's opinions. nothing new was learned. not a fun read either. two stars at best.

Still no definitive book on 70s Sabbath
This book is 90% interview quotes and 10% review. Whilst it's great to hear directly from the band, managers, producers etc the quotes are very waffley, repetitive and often go off on a tangent. Would have preferred heavily edited quotes and more reviews from the very informative and opinionated author.
