I don't like doing reviews before I even get a chance to use the product.

First off I have to say that many of the reviews I read were a bit off of the mark and harsh. This is a generic case ment for a wide range of knives not one specific knife so right away its not gonna be perfect. If you want a perfect fit then pay double the cost and get one specificly for your knife. Having said that I couldn't be happier with this sheath. It's solidly made and fits my RAT-3 near perfectly. It looks awesome, is comfortable to wear and is made of thick leather thats soft enough to be of use but tough enough that its going to last a while. The only small worry I have is if I pull hard enough the knife will come free even with the retention strap snapped closed but I feel that's as much a problem with the knife as with the sheath. If your knife doesn't have a finger choil or guard or a deep enough finger well on the front of the handle there's just nothing for the strap to hold onto to keep the knife firmly in place. However I highly doubt this knife will come lose during a normal day or while out hiking. Again go back to earlier comment about paying double for a knife specific sheath. I've worn this sheath now for a few days while hiking around my home town in Alaska and as of right now I'm so happy with this sheath I'm looking at buying another one from the same source for an ESEE 7 I also have. It's a great product and I wouldn't think twice about buying it again.

Very bulky for scout fit. Didn’t like.

Its states for esee izulu 2 infact its the 1st knife listed the clasp is not tight enough for it. It slides out through clasp

Nice quality piece thick leather. Has lasted about six months now still in great shape.

Don’t put anything sharper than a butter knife in this sheath. Tip of knife went right through the end of the sheath on first use.

This product look is all that it has going for it.Knife shot through the sheath and flayed my finger wide open. Beautiful product, but definitely not safe.

I had looked for the perfect and practical knife sheath for several of my knives and I finally found one. It fits the knives well, looks good and right for the knives and fits the "other gear" I wanted to carry on the sheath (like sharpeners).Thanks
