Super fun cat toy actually got my two 5 year old cats moving like they were kittens again. Several packages of shooters and propellers in the box so I can share them with my cat-owner friends. Read the reviews regarding winding the toy propeller once it is on the shooter, but don't overwind--2 and 1/2 turns will shoot it as high and as far as we have room for indoors.

Superb value, much longer lasting than previous similar items which broke after a few uses. Love the 12 pack too, so we have plenty of spares for future use.We use these for the cat and the discs are also a bit smaller and softer which is ideal for cats and children.The trigger/hand hold is quite small, but we're adults and manage just fine.They fly quite well and the winding mechanism has a definate 'stop' action so you don't overwind them.I would definately purchase this model again, and I chose them on reviews by others, so thank you to the other purchasers who gave accurate reviews.

I see some reviews saying these don’t work, and I thought the same thing when I received mine, when I tried to shoot them they just fell to the floor. I looked through the reviews and found a video where the reviewer talks about needing to turn the wheel until you feel resistance before shooting. I tried that and it works like a charm!! There are no instructions, so unless you had these as a kid, you wouldn’t know to twist them first, but that’s why I wanted to write this review! They work really well once you figure that out, the disks fly far and my cats like them a lot! Taking away one star bc I broke one of them trying to figure this out since they are made super cheaply (which doesn’t really matter that much given the price and how far the disks fly, as long as you know to turn the wheel!) You get enough in a pack that even if you break one, you have 11 more. But it would be nice to have instructions!

These launchers are the perfect cat toy. The disks are lightweight enough that they will be unlikely to knock any trinkets over, and they go sailing through the air perfectly. My cat leaps several feet into the air to bat at them. They go FAR, too. I stand at one end of my living room and shoot and the disk goes through my living room, dining room and kitchen and hits the kitchen door (if my cat doesn't knock it out of the air in between.) The launchers are very cheap and the internal spring mechanism tends to come loose, but I discovered that if you get a tiny screwdriver, you can open them up and repair them--and what's even better, I discovered a hack to prevent them from doing this. Once the gun breaks, open it, re-set the spring, and you can see where there's a notch for the end of the spring to hold on to. I simply got out my jewelers saw and made a further slit in it sideways so it was far less likely to pop out. Then I reassembled the gun and it hasn't broken since.

I thought my cats would love this but they run for the hills every time I get it out. Too bad because it is a blast to play with. I'll find a use.

*edited at the end.Hugely disappointed. My cats love a disk shooter I won at a Game Center but it broke. I saw this and thought it would be great. They don’t shoot. At all. None of them. Waste of money.* update* Since there were no instructions I didn’t know you had to turn it. Once I pushed the disk on snd turned it a few times it worked like a charm. Kitties love it! Wish disks were smaller though. Giving it 3 stars because of not instructions and the disks are too large.

Great quality, all the kids loved it at my son's birthday party.

Only giving one star because I can't give zero. These absolutely did not work. Perhaps it come in a package of 12 so that maybe ONE of the devices will actually shoot the spinner, but none of them worked. The spinner falls off the shooter to the floor each time. Total waste of money, space and plastic. The seller should be embarrassed. Don't buy these.
