I bought this to attach to my well so that I could use one hose for my camper and use the other for a water hose. So far, it seems sturdy and has no leaks.

The Y connector this quality solid brass one replaced was junk I got from Walmart. It looked like it was stainless steel or chrome but when I got it out of the package it was clear it was just junk plastic with a cheap coating. Within a few weeks of the Hawaii sun beating down on it the plastic valve turny-things broke and I was out several dollars. I didn't really care that much because that crap Y adapter leaked water everywhere.If you need a Y adapter, spend an extra few dollars and get this quality brass one that actually works. No leaks, rugged hefty feel, Big grippy thing allows for easy screwing. Giggity.This is less of an "adapter" and more like installing a permanent plumbing FIXTURE. Don't buy junk like I did. I am happy I received my connector at a promotional discount- they asked that I leave a review whether it was good or bad. In a way I reviewed two products, this GREAT one, and the crap plastic thing I got from Walmart.

I received this at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I think it is a high quality product. Heavy duty brass fitting with stainless steel ball valves that last. Ergonomic easy attachment. Only quibble is the on/off controls are stiff initially and need to be worked back and forth several times for smooth easy operation. Not like the cheap junk you find in the box stores. Will update if needed.

Good quality, easy to use, well made, serves the purpose and looks good doing it. I mean it's a hose splitter, so I'm not expecting it to do cartwheels, my criteria for a good product is quality of workmanship and materials, and functionality. This gets good marks across those dimension. It was easy to hook up, didn't leak, the valves work perfectly, and the materials seem very durable, although time will tell, and I will update down the road if it wears out unexpectedly fast. Was really shocked of the quality of this when I received the Solid Brass Y-Connector. It is GREAT quality. My husband instantly used it. It works perfect. No leaks anywhere and now he can have his hoses hooked up. Very Solid and heavy!! I received tihs product at a discount for my honest review.
