Got these to add to our starter tackle box. Since we are still learning and teaching the kids we thought this would be a good addition. We've used it alot in just 2 weekends and it came in quite handy when none of us had fingers small enough to get the hook that a fish had swallowed. We were able to get the hook out from inside and send the little guy on his way.

Pliers and lip gripper are both metal and have a nice weight to them. Gripper is smooth and feels very high quality. Appropriate for smaller fish. Pliers are also very solid and feel sturdy. Handles are comfortable. Spring action works fine, a little tight out of the box but I also played with them in my garage where they have been stored in freezing temps. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased an inflatable kayak, and learned a few lessons the hard way. First off you need your tools close and accessible. This set of stainless steel pliers did that. Including the lanyard & sheath to keep it on my person.These seem to hold up good against water dirt & use and are light weight that I don’t feel them. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good set of fishing pliers.

Very small. Pliers okay for split rings but that’s all. Lip gripper is not spring loaded

Not a good product, the plier is easy to become rusty and hard to use.
