Montana Brands MB-65944 45 Piece Big Sky Drill/Driver Set

This is one of the only sets made in America. It is good quality and drills nicely. The easy change bit is great for predrilling and then screwing. They hold their sharp blade for a while too.They were a bit more than other brands, but better quality and made in America. It is worth the money. I would reorder.

I love how this set comes with extensions. It makes jobs much easier. However, the case that holds the drill bits seems to be poorly designed. The swinging holder does not sit flush with the edge of the case, causing the case to bulge on one side when closed. Otherwise it's a fantastic set.

Don't buy, flat head, and 2 drill bits broke first time I used them. They seem nice at first, and the fact they're made in Montana really made me think this set was going to be superior to anything at Lowe's, or Home Depot. My dewalt bits have never broken and are alot cheaper. Also I received this set with a couple of the parts used. Tried contacting seller and didn't get any response. Stay away from this product and seller.

After purchasing a Milwaukee set and breaking several bits, I noticed Milwaukee was making their bits/drivers in China. Ditto with Bosch and Dewalt. Montana Brands is extremely high quality and made in the USA. It comes in excellent cases and has all the attachments and then some. This is the best deal on Amazon for a drill and driver set by far. I liked it so much I ordered another set. Very, very high quality. Jore shipped right away. Montana Brands is a class act in hardware.

T I thought by paying more for a made in USA product would give me a quality product. Haven't noticed any difference between this product and one made in China. The tips of the bits are soft and soon wear out. The quick change bit jammed and I could not get the counter sink out. One of the drill bits broke. I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Some of the bits from the beginning of my work are still in good shape. I don't mind paying more for something that works and last through the years.

I try to buy high quality, U.S.-made tools when possible and have not been disappointed with Montana products. They are comparable (if not superior) to run-of-the-mill DeWalt and Milwaukee bits. I do like Montana's quick-change attachment better than other brands (all metal and smooth operation). The drill bits are sharp (and stay sharp) and everything works well. The only problem I had was with one of the smaller titanium drill bits -- which snapped while drilling a pilot hole through a steel beam. But I was probably applying too much pressure so I'm not going to fault Montana for that, at least not 100%. Overall, you get a lot for your money.

Bought for a very handy and helpful relative. It was a greatly appreciated gift and used often. She is a stickler for items made in USA. Great quality and selection.

This set is awesome. Made in the United States, very high quality. The modular drill and drive set is very useful and cuts work time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy this set again. Thanks!
