Hey, I wanted to highlight some things about this product because quite a few people have given it a bad rap. Here is what I did, I got the product and I downloaded about 250 MP3 songs onto my player using Itunes.(to convert to MP3 in Itunes go to the top left-hand corner, click preferences and under the general tab there should be a bit that says "when you insert a CD", go right of that and click Import settings. Change the very top drop-down box from whatever it is to MP3 Encoder. Finally, click OK to close that box and OK to get out of the second box, right click on the song you want to convert and scroll down the list until you find "create MP3 version". Itunes will create a 2nd file, the bottom copy is the MP3 version.)I have had no problems regarding any of the files playing, it does skip about the first second of the any of the files for whatever reason, but the sound quality is exactly the same as my computer with MP3.To charge the player, I found out the power switch has to be on, otherwise the player will sit there with a charging screen, but not actually doing anything as the battery is disconnected. I have only used the player for a couple of hours of "run time" so I am still getting used to it. The interface is a bit strange in the fact that you use the Menu Button to "go forward" and the Play/pause button to go backward. When you are watching a video, Listening to music, listening to the Radio, or a recording, the silver button will lead you to volume control.In conclusion, this little player has lots of little features that you have to play around with the player to get to. Don't judge it too fast because one person had a bad experience. I found that the customer support was fast, and helpful even though the communication was a bit confusing.Update-6/26/15 I've had the player since February and I can no longer get my computer to recognize the player. I have tried multiple USB ports, on another computer and on 3 different cables. The device still charges, however, and still functions. I should note that I did not shut the device down by holding the play/pause button for the first few months. I was simply sliding the switch over, which may be the cause of my pain.

I bought player to replace one that cost more than twice as much. This player does everything the other one did and more. Good quality sound and ample volume. It also does pictures , video's, and audio books. Rechargeable battery life is very good. With 8gb it is hard to beat for the price. So why not 5 stars? No clip, cheap ear-buds, a somewhat confusing menu and poor hard to read instructions. If you don't mind carrying it in your pocket and getting a decent set of ear-buds this is a good little unit. **Also note** This seller was marked as Prime two day shipping. It took 8 days to get here by snail mail after it was shipped.

FAST shipping... GREAT seller... POOR quality. Take that with a grain of salt. You get what you pay for so if you are paying $16 for an iPod or MP3 player, you can't expect much. The product is very flimsy and very hard to navigate... The silver button in the middle of the black directional pad on the front of the player didn't do anything. It clicked in like it was supposed to do something but did nothing. I attempted to load about 25 songs on the device but it literally only took 3 and they were normal songs that range from 3-5 minutes. My advice... spend the extra $20 get an iPod Shuffle and call it a day.

I bought this and I wish I didn't but I don't feel like returning it so I'll keep it... First off its very cheap. You have to press the buttons really hard. The controls are confusing. At least for me. I can't figure out how go back. The radio works. It works but its not great. I'll deal with it... Lol.

It worked great for about two weeks and then it stopped charging which made it impossible for it to be used any more. It is easy to use. I uploaded my own track onto it. Just wished if it would of lasted longer, got about 5 uses out of it before it stopped charging.

Its a little hard to get the hang of at first, but music into folders instead of just lining up the songs but found a way around that. Perfect for what I need though.

I ordered this for my son for his Easter Baster. After two hospital stays and a surgery. Today I was finally able to get it out and to upload the music to it. This one shows it charging but not all the buttons seem to work. I ordered two more in two different colors for two of my other kids. One of them will not charge at all. Very disappointed.

I don't get it. Description has:Package included :1*MP4 PlayerBut this player does not support mp4 format. What is the point of the faulse information?
