Super resource
A great tool for 7/8/9 year olds to compare life in Ancient Rome with their own. Lots of bite sized topics. Simply explained and colourful. It provides a great start for many meaningful discussions on how our everyday lives have evolved!

We really enjoy these books! They are hilarious, provoke lots of discussion and have lots of bits of info you probably didn't know before. Really recommend them all!

Great book (and series) - perfect for children
My Daughter is currently learning about the Romans at School, the teacher liked the book so much, they have used it to help the children relate to their own lives.... Great series of books (we have the Greek one as well)

Not for younger kids
The product details for this are a bit light so I will say this here - this is definitely not a book for younger children. I’d say around age 12 due to some of the things discussed. It’s nice but detailed and definitely for older kids. We bought for a younger kid who loves history but sent it back.

What a fantastic book. Funny and simple, every primary school history teachers dream. Rest of the set is fantastic too. Plus there are activity and sticker books. What more could you want!
