This comes with no outer product box, but the tub does have plastic wrapping around it sealing it. It does not say where they are manufactured, just who they are “manufactured for.” I don’t like that they include that, but don’t include where they are actually made. There’s no cruelty free logo. There’s also no manufacture date or expiration date. I wish the label provided more information. There was a protective seal on it when you twisted off the top.I love that this doesn’t have a ton of different ingredients. There’s not too many, and there’s a ton of beneficial ones! I have some post acne spots and sun spots that I’m trying to get rid of, and I’m hopeful these pads will help fade them since it has so many beneficial ingredients for fading spots and hyperpigmentation!It has AMAZING ingredients that are extremely helpful to the skin! Some info about the great ingredients:🔹Arbutin is known to help fade hyperpigmentation like post acne marks and sun spots.🔹Mandelic acid doesn’t penetrate the skin as deeply as glycolic acid so it’s gentler on the skin. It’s effective in treating sun damage and evening out skin tone.🔹Tranexamic acid is known to fade several types of skin discolorations. It’s been shown the effectiveness of this ingredient rivals that of gold standard hydroquinone and is even suitable for stubborn issues like melasma.🔹Kojic acid’s primary benefit is to lighten visible sun damage, age spots, or scars.🔹Ferulic acid is a plant-based antioxidant. It protects against oxidative stress, a disturbance that occurs in the skin, by neutralizing free radicals, which is essentially pollution and UV rays that fill the environment. The main benefit is its antioxidant properties. It helps protect from environmental stressors that cause skin aging. It works to reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines and pigmentation, but it also improves firmness and illuminates the skin, helping to even out skin tone. Like your vitamin C and sunscreen, it is recommended you use ferulic acid daily in the morning, as daytime is when you're more likely to come into contact with environmental aggressors. Cleanse and tone as usual, then use your product containing ferulic acid and finish off with your SPF. Ferulic acid works very well under SPF as it increases protection against UVA and UVB rays.🔹Xylitol is known for its hydrating properties. It helps restore your skin’s moisture and strengthens and protects its barrier.🔹Glycerin is a humectant (like glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate). Glycerin can draw moisture from the air around us and help keep that moisture in skin. Glycerin mimics what’s known as skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which is why it’s compatible with all skin types, of all ages. Replenishing skin’s NMF is important because it becomes depleted as we age, are subject to environmental exposure, and use irritating ingredients like denatured alcohol. Glycerin has TONS of benefits, but it’s primary benefit is to hydrate skin and help it hold on to moisture. Other benefits include shielding skin from environmental sources of irritation; working with emollients and oils to make dry skin feel soft and supple; fortifying and strengthening skin’s moisture barrier; enhancing the penetration of other ingredients into skin’s uppermost layers; and improving skin’s resiliency and youthful look.🔹Sodium PCA is a humectant that naturally occurs in your skin. Humectants maintain and secure moisture into your skin. They attract water droplets from the surrounding air and lock them into the upper layer of your skin, giving it a moisturized appearance. So, it is a hydrating and skin-replenishing ingredient. It also adds up to your NMF. The natural level of sodium PCA decreases as we age. So, when we use skincare products that contain sodium PCA, we replenish the lost amounts. It prevents your skin cells from losing water and thereby protects the barrier function of your skin.The pads are really wet with product, which is nice. You can apply it all over your face if you want and don’t have to worry that you won’t get it spread evenly. There’s a pretty strong medicinal kind of scent. It doesn’t bother me, but if you’re sensitive to smells it will probably bother you. I only smelled it as I was using the pad, not once I had finished using it on my face. After swiping it in an area, it takes a couple seconds to dry. Once it dries, I noticed a kind of tacky feeling, but that went away after a few minutes. I didn’t feel any tingling or stinging at all. But, my skin isn’t sensitive at all.I haven’t been using them long enough to notice any real difference. But, I do notice my skin felt softer and smoother right after use. My skin was visibly smoother too. I thought that my skin was still wet because dome areas looked really shiny, but then I touched one of the areas and it was completely dry, no tacky feeling, nothing, but it felt SOOOOO smooth! I have normal to dry skin with some extremely dry areas and I suffer from hormonal acne. Whenever I get a hormonal breakout, I get 1 or 2 pimples and usually by time I get rid of them, it’s time for more to come. And, once I get rid of them, a lot of them leave behind a red mark. It isn’t really a scar, it’s just a flat, red dot. But, it’s annoying! I’ve done a TON of research on ingredients to help with my hormonal breakouts, post acne marks, and hyperpigmentation and a lot of the ingredients known to help with post acne marks and hyperpigmentation are included in this product! So, I am extremely hopeful that with regular use these will fade those spots!Overall, I’m really enjoying these pads! I love that there’s so many amazing ingredients together in this one product. I had a different products that contained some of these ingredients, but they were all separate. I had a moisturizer with kojic acid, a serum with glycerin, moisturizer with arbutin, etc. I had to either layer or switch on an off between them. I love that they are all in this one product together! I love that I can feel and see how soft and smooth they make my skin! I’m very hopeful I’ll see results with my post acne spots and sun spots. I can’t really say this will definitely help with your hyperpigmentation but, I can say that it makes your skin look and feel soft and smooth and that it has a bunch of the ingredients that are said to help with hyperpigmentation all together in this one product!

Great toner pads that are wonderful for facials concentrating on lifting sun damage, lightening discoloration spots, or evening skin tone. I've been using these as an extra toner in this facial process and I'm seeing a slight acceleration in the progress of my clients, so I would say this product is likely one thing that can be credited with that success. I'm of the belief that no one product can completely repair your skin on its own, but used in conjunction with other products targeting a similar skin care goal, these toner pads are effective at contributing to the process of managing skin tone and decreasing the amount of visible surface damage due to sun exposure. Age spots are a lot lot harder to lift, and I've found that microneedling or chemical peels do the best there, but I do think using products like these toner pads with tools like those mentioned above can also help with that as well.As for packaging, toner pads are pretty much always a risk that they will run out of liquid or dry out too quickly, so I like to add teflon tape around the rim of the jar to help ensure that the seal is truly, completely airtight. You can get a pack of like 10 rolls on amazon for a few bucks and it lasts forever, and is awesome for keeping skin care products well sealed. I'm overall very happy with these toner pads, and while the price is on the steep side, I do think they're likely priced fairly considering the ingredient list. I personally would have liked these pads to contain hydroquinone as well, but I offer other products in my facials with that ingredient if the client wishes to use it. Recommended in general!

The MD Ultimate White Pads work. My wife has sun damage on her neck that makes her skin look spotty. She started using the pads and saw results after just a few applications. The discoloration is fading without any irritation or side effects. I think it's amazing how effective the treatment is so far.When you open the container, it has a strong medicinal odor that suggests something therapeutic, like what you would get from a dermatologist. The pads are soaked in liquid and look yellowish. One pad would go a long way to cover problem areas.Overall, an effective product that's non irritating and worth the price.~ Kort
