Fun Braille ApparelBraille - I Read Braille What's Your Superpower T-Shirt

Finally a shirt with contracted braille! I wear it to school and in virtual classes. The material feels good and after washing a few times now, it still looks and feels good. It is hard to find REAL grade 2 ink braille on a shirt.. and no, I am not looking for tactile braille as no one will be reading my chest with their fingers. My low vision braille learning student knows what it says from looking at it and wants one. The contrast --white ink on a charcoal background-- is easy to see visually. I use the saying as a signature for my work email. If you should make more shirts with contracted braille which most braille readers use, I will buy them. The shirts with uncontacted braille seem often made by folks who do not read it but copied letter for letter (usually with no punctuation) from a chart. This is the perfect shirt for the professional who teaches braille and has several friends who appreciate it. Love my REAL ink braille shirt!

Disappointed that the shirt actually does not have "raised" writing, as in braille. Purchased for a blind family member and unfortunately this is not as I expected.

The shirt is great. It's a thin cotton that week definitely shrink in the dryer but dries very quickly when you just hang it up. I ended up purchasing a second after the first one came in so that I could give it as a gift. I will probably buy a third in May.If you are thinking about the purchase, I would highly recommend that you do it.

Love love this!! It would be great if the translation was in the back. This written in uncontracted (grade 1), but it IS NOT tactile so it has to be ready visually.

Sizes run incredibly small
