Awesome alternative to cheap ramen
These are so good!! I stopped buying cheap ramen when I was told about how the noodles are fried and realizing how much sodium and chemicals are in the cheap noodles. These noodles air dried, the sauce is much tastier and healthier. We buy these all the time because they are so good. They can be "dressed up" with veggies and meat and they compare to homemade ramen. I can say this because I actually know how to prepare ramen from scratch. It's a long, labor of love, but the end results are worth it. To say these noodles compare is a huge compliment

Best ramen noodles on the planet
Wonderful taste, easy to fix. I love the fact that they are made of simple ingredients (nothing you can't pronounce) and air-dried rather than fried. The only drawback is that they can be hard to find, and they're a bit pricey for ramen noodles. Try them anyway. You'll be hooked.

Yummy
These noodles are delicious, the original sauce is very tasty and lends itself well to add-ons. I like it best with some crunchy almond butter mixed in.

Grat taste!
This is the 3rd time I have bought these noodles. I like them and so does my family. I also like that they are fast cooking, for a meal that I need to get done in a hurry.

Mushy and disgusting
These were more like angel hair than ramen. They were mushy and bland. Not worth it

Soy sauce and sesame oil
The noodles themselves have a wonderful texture. Be warned that this ramen expects you to actually make a pot of boiling water to cook the noodles. This is NOT microwave Ramen.Now... The sauce. I am a fairly decent asian cook. This sauce is just dark soy sauce and sesame oil. It is salty and harsh with a strong toasted taste from the oil. Just on it's own... The sauce is pretty foul. It forms a nice base for dressing up, but I would not eat this ramen with just what came in the packet. (If you're curious, try adding a 1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar and some rice vinegar or mirin if you have it and a healthy spoonful of minced garlic.) Maybe this is only intended as a base?We ended up making a yakiramen (?) with the noodles. At the end of the day, I'd have rather had soba or udon noodles for this type of dish. It wanted to stick to the pan, etc... Normal for ramen. The question is: If you have to crazy dress up this instant ramen to get a decent meal, why bother with ramen? If I wanted to make something complicated, ramen noodles would be my last choice but this packaging does not lend itself to being eaten without a good deal of effort and extras on hand. It fails at being ramen.

My go-to noodles
This is the basic A-sha noodle experience, featuring the chewy, thin Tainan noodles and the house sauce packet, which is a straightforward blend of soy sauce and sesame oil. This sauce can also be used to create a soup base, by blending it into 2 cups of low sodium broth or stock. Cook the noodles in the flavoured broth and serve wet style, with soup and added goodness from sliced ginger, mushrooms, green onions…the possibilities are endless. As always, the noodles are air dried and not fried. Sodium is abundant thanks in large part to the sauce mix, but you have the option of using as much or as little as you’d like. These noodles are often sold out in local stores, but they cost half as much in store as when purchased online.

Was hoping for better at this price
The flavour was just OK, can’t find instructions anywhere on the package inside or out how much water to use so I would I used about as much as I would for another product of like kind. Flavour was just OK. Nothing special. So I’ll go back to cheaper noodles for the car so when I paid for this, I could’ve got three times as much. That being said packed well came quick, but those are the reasons I bought it.

the sauce is just soy sauce with a hint of sesame...
This value pack is nowhere as good as the 5-pack. The noodles are flimsy and the soy sauce is not as good a quality.
