No words
I was hoping for a book with a clear message about bullying but there are no words in the book so you have to add them in with your own story. Great book for people with imaginations. Otherwise a lot of work.

Not what I expected
This book came up in a Google search recommendation to teach kids about bullying but itβs very ~minimal~. Not many words and I donβt think it gets the point across too well.

Great Find
Great book for Pre-K . I used it for a read aloud on bullying and students were very engaged.

What is the Strategy Suggested by the Author to Deal With Bullies?
Was difficult for me to understand how to use this book for children: is the author suggesting that the bully be confronted and then the bully would recognize the error of his(her) ways? But that isn't always the best strategy!

What a great story. This was my sons favorite for a while. Really helps kids to see the various sides of the coin (so to speak).

Bully
Huge issue today. Teaches empathy for both sides, the 'bullier' and the 'bully-ee', how to deal with bullies, how to work things out and possibly all get along together. Teaches understanding and being 'NICE'.

Choose your words wisely.
Very simple, but powerful book about the power of words. We reread the book twice because it is simple enough for kindergarten students to echo read.

Think again!
Much clearer, better options available - very dated.

Disappointing
Too short; also unrealistic for the cases we have encountered of bulling. The bully apologizing immediately after he is called "bully." Come on....
