Darker Paths (The Witches of Canyon Road Book 2) Kindle Edition

I have purchases Christine Pope's work and have received some for free, no matter what I am thrilled to read her work. I purchased Darker Paths and am so glad I did. This is the second book of the Witches of Canyon Road. We pick up the story as if you just turned the page at the end of book one. It is a seamless transition. Miranda is fascinated with Simon and how he can bring out her powers. Is he really her true mate? He has looks and says all the right things just when she needs it.Christine always makes me feel like I am part of the story. I was so into the storyline I didn't want it to end. The third book is highly anticipated.

OMGOOSH...can't wait until the next book is out. I love the suspense, the perfect amount of romance and I love the modern day Witches!!! Can't wait for July!!!

the characters weren't asking the obvious questions. On the positive side, there was a lot more action in this one.

I enjoyed this book so much that I went right to reading book 3. My review for book 3 covers books 1, 2 and 3.

The story line kept on going smothly no boring parts over all and enjoyable read

This is the second book in this series, and holy amazeballs it is great! I don't care for Simon and I hope he gets what he deserves. I love Rafe and Miranda together.

Highly entertaining and for me, very believable!

Could not put it down!Love the plot line and the fast paced read.Recommend you read the 1st one before this.

Personally, I ended up feeling that, like many ‘middle’ books in a trilogy, the pace was slightly patchy in Darker Paths. Around the middle of the book, I began to get a little impatient for the plot to move on, as I had begun to anticipate what was coming and wanted to get there sooner. Patience and I are not comfortable bedfellows, however, so that may just be my own issues informing my opinions! Everything else about the book was up to Pope’s usual standards, so I kept going and was glad I did, because it was SO worth it. No spoilers. Just keep reading.

Christine pope is an amazing author and has you gripped from beginning to end. Cannot wait for the next one
