Beep! Beep! (Peekaboo!) Board book – February 4, 2008

This book was recommended to us by my son's speech therapist. He loves it! It has a repetitive phrase on each page, which is perfect for little ones learning to talk. He loves to say "Boo!" while pointing at the picture hidden under the flap. The quality is much higher than most "flap books". My son is not particularly gentle with books, but this has held up great!

This is such a great & fun book! I love that the flaps are sturdy and are an extension of the page rather than a cut out in the page making them much harder for my little guy to rip. Not only is it a lift flap book, but also a touch and feel book, which is a huge plus! My some loves both types of books and this is the first I've found that is a combination of the two. My son loves it and so do I! :)

We've had 6 kids they've all loved this! 9 month to 18 months seems to be the prime age.

I received a couple of DK's "peekaboo" books for my son's baby shower, and he loves them so much that I ordered a couple more! He just can't get enough of lifting the flaps and feeling what's inside. I've got Beep Beep, Farm, Rainbow Colors, and Bedtime, and they are well worth the money!

We love the DK Peekaboo books - this was our 7th one we purchased. The pictures in this one are bright and colorful. It has a couple of particularly great touch and feels - the sandpaper texture with construction equipment to name one.My 9-month old loves this one. It would be great for a baby already interested in vehicles.

I enjoyed reading this precious little picture book to my granddaughter. It's very short but it's probably the perfect length for an infant under six months who appears to enjoy the book.

My son had the same book (or so I thought)that he opened and closed the flaps so many times that they fell off. It was also a peekaboo book with the same style cover as this one. However, once I received it I realized that it is the same book only much smaller. My son has no interest in these small books. I ordered several different ones and he doesn't like any of them. He still plays with his large one, with the remaining flaps.
