I was worried I wouldn't like it or it would have issues
It is actually decent. For the price I can't complain. Small nick on an edge, nothing to send back for a replacement. Sturdy for what it is. No excess shaking. Feels pretty solid. Only thing more so would be a more expensive desk of solid wood. I'm happy with my choice. Easy to build.

Really great desk, but watch out if you need to mount anything to the sides!
I have no idea how they manage to sell this desk for so cheap, it is surprisingly high quality. Very sturdy and super simple to assemble. One caveat, which is completely my fault, is that the desk frame runs around the entire perimeter of the table top, as opposed to a capital "i" shaped frame that leaves the front and back borders of the tabletop exposed. This means that it's pretty difficult to mount anything to any side of the desk using clamps. I tried to mount monitor arms to the end of the desk, but the desk frame blocks the clamps from reaching the actual tabletop, so it's sort of just barely clamped to the desk frame.I fixed it by using some cut pieces of cardboard stacked on top of each other so the clamps are flat against the desk frame (see pictures), but a solid block of wood would be even better. This issue is completely my fault, and it's clearly shown in the product pictures. Just wanted to warn others about this before buying.

Decent table with a couple issues (see details)
I got the SOFSYS Desk/Workstation Table (Oak/Black, 63-inch) to supplement the similar furniture I already have in my home office area. My main concern with flat-pack furniture is panel damage, so I was extremely happy when the SOFSYS arrived without any damage. The tabletop is MDF that's veneered to look like plywood (odd, IMO). My tabletop was packed well enough that there wasn't any edge or corner damage. The frame is made of rectangular section steel. The steel is welded together, albeit unattractively. There may be a bit of grinding on the welds to clean them up, but the finishing largely just consists of eggshell finish black paint. The paint is decent, with no noticeable drips or surface imperfections. There are two rails, two leg assemblies, the tabletop, and the attachment hardware/feet.Assembly is easy, consisting of putting in 16 screws and 4 threaded feet. Though tolerances are decent, you should always assemble anything like this by finger tightening everything first, and then finishing the tightening once everything is together. It's also a good idea to use a hex driver, instead of the included hex wrench. Since the threaded inserts are set in MDF, it's important to not overtighten anything. 7 of 8 of my threaded inserts were fine, but one of the threaded inserts for a leg assembly spun freely in the MDF. Not great, but not the end of the world, either, since the leg assemblies attach to the rails, as well as the tabletop. Overall, not something worth sending the table back over. The assembly took less than 5 minutes, and the bad threaded insert was my only real issue. Once assembled, the desk is pretty solid, exhibiting no significant racking (the lateral shear of the standing structure if it's not properly rigid/reinforced). For the price, the aesthetics are fine, and it's a decent purchase overall. The only thing that dings my recommendation is the workmanship issue of the threaded insert.❤️ If you found my review helpful, please let Amazon know by clicking the helpful button below

Ignore that dent, please!
The shipping box suffered the worse, but inside there was only a small chip affecting one corner on top of the desktop. In use, that corner is hidden from view. The desk assembles easily enough. And it looks and feels great! My wife and I have two iMacs sitting upon the 63-inch model and two keyboard trays clamped on. (If it were offered) we coulda gone a little wider than this, but the depth is just right for our smallish home office space. Today I complete electrical wiring ... wish me luck!

Basic desk, good value
Like other reviewers, I had to upgrade the desk in my home office space as I continue to Work From Home. Since I am used to a flex office situation, I didn't need drawers, cord management or anything special...just a larger desk to fit my laptop, keyboard and extra monitor. The price point for the size was perfect. I originally ordered the white legs, but it was delayed several times. I'm happy that the oak top is light colored, more like birch or pine. Another reviewer mentioned the weld joints were a bit sloppy. I agree, but at least they are not in an area you will ever notice or see again. The black powder coat on the legs was even, with no scratches or thin spots. When it arrived, I was a bit concerned there might have been some damage during shipment. I was amazed that there was none. It was packaged pretty well with corner guards and foam pieces along the sides which keep the legs from sliding around. Easy assembly, with extra screws/bolts just in case. I don't have any concern about the edge coverings being stick-on laminate because they smoothly meet the table top and look fine. Yes, the desk top is particle board with laminate coating. I always use a coaster, so I am not concerned about the potential of causing damage with my coffee cup or drinking glass. I'm very happy with this purchase. I am thinking about ordering another to use as a work bench in the garage!

Great home office desk
Perfect home office desk. Long and deep enough and surprisingly sturdy. Plenty of room to put a fileCabinet underneath if necessary.Much nicer than many higher priced sealed I’ve looked at.

A Really Good Desk for the Price
I received my desk two days after I ordered it and though the box had some damage, the product itself was in perfect condition. It is a bit heavy, which was a pain because I had to lug it upstairs from my lobby (thanks to FedEx being too lazy to bring packages to my apartment door). The weight and size of the desktop also made it a bit unwieldy when unpacking it, but once that was done, it was a breeze to put together. If you can handle Ikea furniture assembly, you can definitely handle this. It took me roughly 30 minutes in all to unpack, assemble, and then move it into place in my office. If I had someone helping me, I probably would have done it in 20. So far it seems quite sturdy for a flatpack item and it's not wobbly or anything like that. And no, it's not fancy or high-end looking, but for the price I think it's a really good product.
