Sit with your foot flat on the floor and leg at a 90 degree angle Hold the button until you see the lights running back and forth then release the button Next every time you feel the slightest tingling sensation click the button once The sensation will pause each time you click the button You will typically click the button 3 6 times When the lights go off calibration is complete Without an electrode attached to your Quell and before you place it within the sports band click the button to your Quell once If your battery is charged you will see between 1 and 5 white lights illuminated The more lights you see the more charged the battery is Please note that 1 white light up to 39% battery light Bonniejean please confirm If you see an orange light illuminated your battery needs charging Plug your device into an outlet using the charging cord Charge device for at least two hours You must use the supplied charger plug the USB on many computers is not powerful enough to charge a Quell device Once device has charged for two hours repeat battery check process to see level of charge The level of stimulation when using your Quell should never be painful Stimulation should always be strong but comfortable To decrease intensity click the button once If needed you may repeat this process to decrease intensity even more For the best results and to prevent the issue from happening again please re calibrate the device following the steps listed in the calibration process It is important to give your Quell time to work We recommend wearing your Quell for at least 4 6 hours for the first month to ensure you give Quell enough time to work It may take two to three weeks of therapy to experience relief particularly if you have been suffering from chronic pain for a long time Proper dose is critical Stimulation should always be strong yet comfortable If the stimulation dosage is too low you will not receive widespread pain relief Proper calibration can help ensure you are at the optimal therapeutic intensity see steps listed within the calibration section above
