Aprilaire A4335 Space-Gard and Aprilaire US4335 Feed Tube

Seems to be an actual Aprilaire package. At least it has Aprilaire stickers on it. The grey tube seems to be exactly like the old one. Same length, inner diameter, and outer diameter. The brass nut is the same too. I ended up not using the red filter. It didn't fit into the solenoid very well, making it stick out a lot, and I didn't want to force it. Plus there's never been one installed for 35 years or so, and it's something extra to get clogged up at some point anyway.

No doubt about it - - this is a genuine Aprilaire A4335 feed tube. It includes the tiny strainer than goes into the intake tube. Includes installation instructions. It's very important to install the tiny strainer because the strainers often fail after a couple of years. The failure mode is that they break up into tiny parts that partially clogs the intake, leading to reduced water flow. It's easy to get the old strainer out by using a paper clip with the end bent into a small hook.Works perfectly with my model 600.

Correct parts. Reasonable price. For installation it's best to use a flare nut wrench for the tube fitting and a small adjustable wrench to hold the valve. I couldn't see the original in-line strainer (and thought it was missing), but I was able to fish it out using the new strainer which grabbed onto it slightly. So, there's a slight learning curve with this operation, but I already had the tools and saved a boatload of money doing it myself! Remember to turn off the furnace and shut of the water valve before you start. When replacing the Water Panel, be sure the colored markings on the panel are facing towards the top of the unit.

Needed to replace my line for the house humidifier and got this kit. While it has all the necessary items, and does explain how to install it (which was great considering i took the old one off and forgot how to each little thing when back on). The only and big issue with this is the cheap hose wasn't long enough. how would they give a short hose? it's literally pennies to add a few more inches. Instead i had to go to the hardware store to buy a new hose that was longer and cut to size.

I ordered the Aprilaire US4335 Feed Tube for an Aprilaire 550. The tube was about 6 inches too short. I was able to drill a 1/4 inch hole in the bottom of the 550 and then it fit.

Exact feed tube replacement for my Aprilaire 600 Feed Tube. Those that say this is too short for their Aprilaire just need to relocate their solenoid location. Their installers apparently located the solenoid further away than needed. I had to cut off a couple inches. Works great.

This will not fit an aprilaire model 550. The tube length is too short by about 2 inches. The fitment guide does not list the 550 but there appears no other kit for a 550. So this is not the fault of the vendor.I did make it work. The model 550 has the water valve at the bottom of the humidifier case. The tube is too short to reach the top of the water tray. Also the tube must make a 90 degree turn when it enters the case which causes the tube to link and crack.My solution was to move the water valve to the top sidewall of the case and then use a brass tube to go from the valve to a 90 degree elbow. Then the elbow connected straight to this tube inside the humidifier. No bends and a simpler installation. I sealed the old holes with silicone caulk and metallic tape. Works well.

I bought this because the tube tends to crack and wasn't sure if the furnace guy carried the tube. So my tube was cracked again and the furnace guy replaced it with this part and it seems to be working.

Would not buy. Really agitates me when something is shipped of a much lower quality than depicted in picture. Feed tube is plastic not rubber as shown and the end that feeds the humidifier pad is not a 90 degree connection as depicted. Would not purchase this item, If I could give it minus five stars that is what I would give it.

Was the exact replacement for what I needed. Pretty pricey however for a short piece of plastic tubing.

The tube was a little short for my unit however I was able to connect it.
