Precise plug maker
Plug makers are a great way to fill holes in wood. To fit good the cutter has to be sizes correctly when it’s made. These are, I made about 40 plugs, measuring them and the size stayed consistent.

Misleading product photos
2 out of three product photos featured 3 plug cutters when in fact you only get one.Nice product but unfortunate marketing

One cutter
I really need to start reading the reviews more. Could have saved myself the disappointment. The add is misleading you only get 1,one,uno plug cutter.The cutter does work well. Just not $15 good.

Not accurate description
The description says it comes with 3 sizes and two out of there pictures show three but it’s only one bit had I known that I would have ordered it from another company!If I wasn’t handicapped and could drive it to ups I’d return it. Very misleading!!!!!

Only one cutter not 3
You only get one 5/16 plug cutter. The pictures shouldnt show three in this description. I was disappointed thought I was getting three sizes. So just be aware you only get one.

Makes accurate 5/16 plug. Takes practice.
Place the self centering guide on your workpiece without the cutting edge touching the surface. Get the drill spinning at high speed then smoothly drill down into the wood 1/4 to 3/8" depth. Worked well to plug #8 screw holes in redwood. If the plug is not deep enough, the divot from the self centering guide will be visible in the plug after being flush cut.

The cut was not as clean as I had hopped.
The cut was not as clean as I had hopped. My application required a clean cut at the bottom where the plug meets the bottom and it wasn't. I use others that do it very well but can't find them in 5/16.
