Magnetic Screen Door, 36"x83" Strong Mesh, 28 Magnets from Top to Bottom Ultra Seal Magnets Close Automatically

I just bought a new house and have been on an Amazon spree to make it as dog friendly as possible. I wanted her to be able to breathe fresh air on the balcony while I was at work, and I'm building a small sensory garden for her there as well. I learned though that mosquito eaters are in abundance around the building.I have a sliding glass door with a sliding screen door, and I wanted to see if this would be as effective. I attached the top and left to the outside of my house, and the right side along the edge of the screen door (it was open to the desired amount first). Now I leave that setup as is and it functions just as well as the screen door alone. I'm able to adjust the tension this way too, if I want them loose and flowy I slide the door closed a few inches; I keep it taut mostly. And of course if I want to take it off which will happen before I pressure wash, I just pull it off the Velcro and stick it up later when I'm ready, so easy.PROS - installation is too easy to even be called that. It's just sticking stickers where you want them. The adhesive seems very strong, and the Velcro also... It is placed all along the edges and I've had no problems with it coming off when I push through it. The Velcro is a solid strip for the top, and several partial sections along the sides separated by maybe 12 inches each.- it can be taken down and replaced quite easily, if you only want it for summer it can be stored during the rest of the year and ready for use.- the magnets are definitely strong enough to find each other and clasped closed.- I live in Oregon and have been able to leave my sliding glass door open all day and night with only this as protection from bugs and weather. It has done well in rain, wind and shine. I bought a second one for the door to the backyard as well.CONS - not really a con, but if you are wanting this to stay open for any length of time, you will need to hold it open with something or even pull a section down temporarily. The magnets don't waste a lot of time in closing.- if you are getting it for a pet, it may take some practice, not a product con at all just a reminder. My dog had run into the actual screen door (remember new home) enough times that she looked at me like a crazy person when I told her this was okay. But I still think the purchase is worth the extra time needed, she will have more freedom when she is more comfortable with it.- it does smell when coming out of the bag. This isn't very surprising nor do I think it's a product flaw; the product has plastic and the packaging is all plastic. I would recommend opening it outside, the "new" smell airs out gradually over a few days.

We're using this screen door in a high-traffic doorway, and it works wonderfully! Installed for almost a month now and holding up just fine. Magnets are strong and "find" each other easily.If you've ever had kittens, you know that a baby gate only works to a certain age. I got our kittens at approximately 12 weeks old, and the gate kept them contained for just about one afternoon before they realized they could climb it and jump over. We have an open doorway from our kitchen to our back door and the stairs going down to the basement, and I needed a way to block it off. We considered more expensive solutions (install a door, etc.) but decided to give this a try first. Now we have the baby gate in the doorway and the screen hanging in front of it. (Of course, we have to open the screen and step over the gate, but we can get through while the kittens can't.) A very inexpensive fix for what is ultimately a temporary problem!I'd buy this product again in a minute!

I bought this screen for my upstairs back porch to improve airflow overall. The actual screen is very well made. Much better than a more expensive screen I bought for a different door. The installation went up easily but then two days later it started to come down. Once I used the provided tacks I have had no issues.Pros: This screen is seriously well made. The magnets run the entire length of the sceeen and open and close smoothly. Initially I notuced a gap between two of the magnets bit after I moved them around everything was perfect. My two small dogs were afraid of it at first, but now come and go with no issue. This was a great price and I was honestly shocked at how nice it is.Cons: The only con is the velcro. I put it up on vinyl siding and thw top piece just kept coming down. I replaced it with a new layer of velcro and that also came down. The tacks worked great, but if you don't have wood that can nail them in to.. you may need extra help woth the top piece of velcro. i may have also just got some less tacky velcro. I would still highly recommend this screen.

This is an amazing screen! It fits very well and keeps the bugs out. It was easy to install; I used the velcro and a few of the tacks to secure the velcro. The screen material is heavy duty and it is well made. I was really surprised by the quality of the material.The velcro seems to hold tightly without the tacks but since I have it on a door at my vacation home in Mexico, I added a few tacks to make sure it would remain tight in the extreme heat that we have there.I would highly recommend this and am thinking of purchasing another one very soon.I did not measure to install the screen. I chose to align it to the trim and then installed the velcro. Worked great but others may want to measure as the instructions specify.
