Contrary to the description I can't adjust the length of the buckle lock at all. I can move the buckles on the straps, but nothing holds them in place, so they move freely.Aside from that, my cat and I like the harness. He's a large cat but I was able to put it on with room for my fingers to fit underneath.Having the harness secure on their back with a strap from each side feels safe because if anything were to wear down or tear I would likely have one of the straps still secure. The product seems strong but when the consequence is losing an irreplacable animal you want to be prepared.

We went out many times to "walk" which to my cat meant we stop and he sat watching birds and squirrels. This harness worked fine but once when he lunged forward to chase a squirrel my hand slipped through the hand hold and he was off. Fortunately, he returned a few hours later leash trailing behind him. On another venture out I tied the hand loop smaller to avoid the slipping incident again, we were actually walking on the driveway when something startled him, he jumped about 3 foot off the ground, twisted around to face me frantically, bent his front legs up, and he was out of the harness. In a few hours he came home. We have not attempted to walk since then, I wish they had a harness with back leg straps, maybe I could avoid the Houdini escape.

Seems a little smaller than I expected. Make sure to measure your cat.

The large harness fits our 11-12 lb Himalayan cat with huge long fur that widens her. It's a sturdy design that doesn't come off when she tugs at leash. Once on, she seems comfortable & doesn't try to get it off. Highly Recommend!

My only complaint is that the XS we purchased was too big for Jake the Adventure Cat. We had to take up the shoulder straps to keep him in! He is 4 months now and we still have it pinned but it is fitting better 😻 He wears it daily and it is sturdy, apparently comfy and does not yet show any wear. The clasp is tight and does not release on its own. Yay!!

The media could not be loaded.  So in this review I will tell you why I chose this product to buy after much research and deliberation, what I like about it, and what I'd change (not much).My cat Simon is 16.5 lbs of muscle. People see him in person and are usually a bit taken aback by his size. I've tried other harnesses but struggled to find ones that were big enough, stay on, AND are comfortable for him. He measures 17.5" inches around his chest behind his legs.This harness had a large size range and had an easy step in design. I liked that it had easy adjustable velcro closure reinforced by a buckle. I was worried about it staying closed but it has a large amount of very strong velcro. Not only that but there is still a good amount of room left to where, if he was bigger, it would still work for him.I like that this style harness does not put pressure on his neck and fully supports his chest. It does not move or shift even if he tugs against the leash. He seems to find it very comfortable. Unlike other harnesses it only took two times of him wearing it to fully walk unbothered. I made putting it on a positive experience with treats and starting out with only a few minutes of wearing it, increasing each time. Worked like a charm.The harness is great quality. Good stitching and seems like it will last. I love the bright colors and went with "Fruit Green" aka highlighter yellow/green. I chose this so if I for some reason lost hold of the leash, he could be easily spotted, even if we were in the woods. It really is breathable too. I can see his dark fur through the mesh and when I hold it up to a vent the air flows through easy.I do wish the fixed buckle lock could be tightened once the velcro was fastened. It would be that extra added measure to ensure it stays in place. He has never gotten out of it though. As stated above, the velcro is strong. I also make sure to stay behind him so he doesn't have the opportunity to pull out. Though, I doubt he would accomplish this easily. I also wish the leash included was a bit longer. I can always buy a new one though so no biggie.Overall, I love this product. My cat Simon does too, as now he gets to go on daily walks. The quality and functionality is all there. I will be buying another one for my other cat as well.

This cat harness is easy to put on and very sturdy.

The media could not be loaded.  My little ragdoll loves his harness & leash. He's doing really well walking & doesn't slip out of it.Simple to put on (trying to adjust a neck collar is a pain for everyone.Just slip their front paws through the holes & velcro the back then clip & hook your leash.

My current rescue cat is a fan of NO harness, but with treats and patience xOneMillion I did get this on her - once. She wont be picked up or held so she's not the usual housecat. Once on, she promptly hated like most cats would but quickly seemed to get used to it. It is so comfortable and light its really a fab harness. She is a tiny cat, full grown but only about half the size of a regular cat, only 6 pounds and the size small was good for hereven if she gains a pound or two. Having said all that, my previous 11 pound cat would have easily been coaxed or simply placed by hand into this harness in a bigger size. It is well made, so light! And the buckle opens and shuts securely with ease, not one of those ones you need 3 hands for. I am impressed by this harness in every way. If I ever get this wild child back in it I'll take a pic. Also, when she was in it, it looked snug on her and I was concerned maybe she couldn't breathe, so I put my finger under it where her ribs were and she had *plenty* of breathing space so looks are decieving. I give this a 5 star-rating. Thank you for making it. Update: I figured out if I can just get the harness around her belly loosely with the velcro, if I do that then pull it forward like I'm trying to help her get out of it she actually puts one or two feet in and then I snap the actual buckle closed! Not easy, but its happened once so it can happen again lol. And again truly great quality, so breathable and light.

Product is very good quality,unfortunately I had to return the item as it did not fit my cat,I have a large male cat and the Large size was to small.

The media could not be loaded.  Light thin sports like material, which is very good to create comfort for your cat. I’ve tried a few other harnesses for cats from PetSmart and my cat hated it and crouches and didn’t walk in it properly. But due this one my cat is comfortable in it!

I purchased the medium first as I have a 10 lb cat - he is stocky but not fat (British Shorthair) - if he backs up he walks out of it so I purchased the small - better, I can snug it up better -- these are not escape proof but so much easier to put the cat into it and remove it -- I always stay out with my cat - so no excaping
