A compilation of the best of Restless & Wild / Balls to the Wall

Item arrived on time and in good condition. It rocked hard.

I would say that this was the peak era of Accept. 15 tracks total. My faves include; Fast As A Shark, Restless And Wild, Love Child, Turn Me On, London Leatherboys, Losers and Winners, Flash Rockin' Man, and Balls To The Wall. For the casual Accept fan, this disc just may be enough.

Great album from a very under rated band from the greatest era of music... Other than the 70s and 60s.

What a find Udo at his best covers Restless and Wild, and Balls to the Wall. All the hits are here one of the most underrated metal bands of all time in my opinion. This band rips every song rocks a must have for any rocker! Just crank this mutha up!!!!!!!

Boy, this album brought me back to my high school years. This band was awesome but really never received the credit they deserved. Balls to The Wall is absolutely the best rock anthem along with Hells Bells. I had not listened to them since high school, 20 years ago. I recently watched the movie The WRESTLER with Mickey Rourke and I couldnt believe they used Balls to the Wall. I immediately purchased a new Accept greatest hits CD.

La recopilación es buena para entrarle a este grupo, pero en las imágenes del producto tienen marcado qué está hecho en USA, lo cual no es verdad, está hecho en México y desgraciadamente muy mal hecho, Sony music no cuida los productos que hace en México, parece copia pirata, está para la basura y por un precio que no le corresponde a la calidad, cai en el fraude, ni modo, solo una estrella por el contenido

When you put together a compilation (one CD only) of two of the finest metal albums of the 80s then it's clear you're not going to keep everyone satisfied...and so it is with this CD. The two original albums comprised 20 tracks, whereas there's only 15 on this CD. Major omissions imo are 'Ahead of the Pack', 'Get Ready', and 'Fight It Back', while lesser tracks from both albums are included.Nevertheless, you can hardly fault the music here, and the running order is good with the tracks playing well alongside each other with barely a pause in-between. The sound is good too, with more treble than on the modern reissues. What's more, you'll be listening to not only some of the best metal of the 80s, but to some of the best metal ever.But should you buy this CD?If (like me) you like buying compilations, then you'll probably already have it anyway. But if you're a younger fan wanting to discover Accept, then my advice would be to buy both original albums for just a few quid more.Lastly, I'd like to know how old my copy is - the original CD artwork has probably not changed, with a 1986 CBS copyright notice printed on the back cover. That said, once I'd got the shrink-wrap off, the CD could not be opened because a big Sony sticker was stuck over the two halves of the case...so my guess is that this is a 21st century pressing (if you know then please leave a comment).

Venditore (All Your Music) affidabile come sempre. Per quanto riguarda la musica, solido heavy metal teutonico di stampo classico: ottime melodie, cori che entrano subito in testa, bei riffoni e la voce inconfondibile di Udo. Come ben indicato (dall'immagine di copertina e dal retro), l'album è un compendio di due grandi lavori ("Balls to the Walls" e "Restless & Wild"). Fortunatamente sono stati inseriti tutti i brani migliori. Il cd è dunque consigliato a chi volesse avvicinarsi al gruppo tedesco, spendendo pochissimo, e ai completisti. Il booklet, ridotto all'osso, non contiene i testi. Stay Metal.
