These # 42 Sperry combs WORK as a great HAIR COMB should !

Compared to the popular Kent combs, this comb is overall more sturdy and higher-quality. The comb feels great in the hand, is a nice size, and the gold-lettering on the comb lasts a shockingly long time. But I will say that the Kent comb is overall more comfortable on the face...the edges are more rounded than those of the Speert, but the Speert is a very nice comb nonetheless.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this comb! Haven't been able to find one in stores, so I am glad that I found them here. These combs don't rip at the hair. My daughters have thick, curly hair and these combs are great for detangling in the shower, or in the morning before school. I have used these combs for years, and I would never use a plastic comb on my daughters' hair. The price is fair. I have researched other hand-polished combs and they can be twice as much as this site is charging. I have been using the comb for several weeks and I am still happy with it. Others I have owned in the past have snapped in the middle over time (my daughters both have THICK hair) but so far so good. I highly recommend this comb for anyone who is multi-ethnic or has thick, curly or coarse hair - they are perfect for us!

I have been using this comb for 20+ years and it is incredibly durable. I did not purchase this comb because my old one broke but because I wanted a back up just in case. It is perfect for thick wavy/curly hair and can get through most knots easily. The price is fair for what you’re getting. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Sure, it's nearly 20 bucks for a comb. But it's big enough for meaty paws, it is finished to not snag your hair, and it's built well enough to last a lifetime. It's the price of five cheap plastic combs, and it's easily five times better.

I have been using this brand, Speert #15, comb for about 25 years!I originally noticed Speert combs behind a glass display in a NYC drugstore. When I asked the pharmacist for a recommendation, he was very enthusiastic about the brand so I decided to try one. I've been using the Speert #15 comb almost exclusively since then. In fact, I still have the original one I bought 25 years ago and it's still in good shape, no peeling or missing teeth. I've since ordered others for my husband and teenage children and they've been very satisfied. The comb (Speert #15) eliminates static, is good for detangling, has smooth teeth that are relatively wide spaced, and is very well made. The Speert brand definitely deserves its well earned reputation for making an excellent product. The price may seem a bit steep but it's well worth it in terms of quality and durability.

I replaced my old silver vanity set comb with this one and it was perfect. Even better than the original. Great quality and highly recommended.
