Great paint, a little goes a long way.
Absolutely love the coverage and color. Used to paint some unfinished stock cabinets from home depot. I'd say it looks fantastic, but I'm bias. This will really enhance my laundry/mudroom.

Good for wood furniture, not so much for mdf furniture
I wanted to paint some bedroom furniture so that they were all uniform and had a cohesive appearance. I chose this brand because it was cheaper than Annie Sloan. I didn't want to spend too much money since this is my first painting experience with chalked paint. I had two pieces of furniture--one mdf/particle board and another solid wood. With the mdf/particle board furniture, I lightly sanded the surface so that the paint could adhere better. I didn't sand the solid wood furniture. I wiped off any wood particles, dirt, etc with a wet rag. Initially on the mdf furniture, I applied 2 coats of paint with a fine brush. It left streaks/brush marks. This is okay if you like that look, but I prefer a smoother, less shabby look. So I started applying the first coat of paint with a brush and followed up the second coat with a small/mini roller. The roller did the trick and left a smoother, more uniform finish. I applied this technique to the wood furniture and it worked out as well.Next came the distressing part. On the mdf/particle board furniture, even with the light sanding, the paint doesn't adhere as well. If you're not careful and accidentally bump the furniture, some of the paint will chip off. Also, if you distress too much with the sandpaper, it chips off as well. I ended up having to spot paint areas where the paint chipped off. I applied 2 coats of the Chalked Matte Clear topcoat and it still chipped. On the wood furniture, I had no problems distressing or applying the top coat. In fact, the distressing looked fantastic.I wish this gray was a little bit darker.I rely heavily on honest helpful reviews when I shop and I want to help others make an informed decision as well. not as good as the expensive brands
I usually use an expensive brand of chalk paint…and wanted to try the cheaper version. It’s more watery and doesn’t paint as well as my preferred brand. It’s ok.
