Cables are the lifeblood of your tone - these don't compromise
I should begin by mentioning that I am a bit of a cable snob. My rig whether for recording or playing out is all mogami gold cables through and through. Choosing to go with Mogami has been expensive, but at least I don't have to worry about my cables being an issue. Recently I've decided to incorporate an effects loop into my live rig rather than just do the old fashioned guitar-pedals-amp approach. The idea of shelling out $120 or so on 2 long enough Mogami cables turned me off to the idea, $120 would buy me a darn good pedal rather than some boring cables.Fortunately I came across these. I just bought the one to see how good they are, if it ended up being a big compromise from Mogami Golds I would just keep it as a living room guitar cable or give it away to someone who isn't a cable snob. Turns out these are excellent cables and I'm buying another to make the loop.I A/B'd this 20' cable with a Mogami Gold 18'. The difference was very subtle, with the Planet Waves having a more poppy high end with slightly scooped mids and the Mogami's having a more flat and neutral EQ. Again the difference wasn't much at all, but I would say on the whole that the Mogami's are more transparent. For live guitar though, I actually would prefer the more excited high end from the Planet Waves so they really work for me. I may not use them for recording as I don't like to have any sound coloration that I don't explicitly plan on having.Regarding noise, both cables seemed equal here, which is to say that they do not pick up interference and add noise to your signal. A definite must have feature for me. The tip locking aspect of the planet waves also works very well. I had bought a planet waves cable about 5 years ago that had a feature like this but instead it just ended up getting really stuck inside guitar jacks. I'm glad they fixed this. These cables also don't have a serious tendency of getting knotted up as they have a bit of a stiffness to them, although not too much so as to be too rigid and heavy. I can't speak for long term use quality as I just got one, but they seem very well built.Overall I would recommend these to anyone, whether they are a discerning pro with lots of funds or a starting musician on a budget. I especially would recommend these to a starting player since usually the cheap cables you buy to spend more on other stuff end up choking your sound to a significant degree. Also these are made in America - that's why I was inclined to give them a shot even though they didn't say mogami on them. Very glad I did. If only they sold pedal patch cables like these, I might end up switching to Planet Waves entirely for live and keeping my expensive Mogamis for recording work only.

Great connectors, tough cable, NO NOISE
I'd list off all of the brands of cables I've tried over the years, but you'd get bored and stop reading. So I'll sum up: buy this cable. Stop looking at other brands. Stop wondering if you'll get the best bang for your buck. You won't find a better quality cable than the Planet Waves American Stage cable. The deets:You'll likely spend years and hundreds of dollars finding and tuning the perfect instrument for you. You'll then spend hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars on the perfect amp.And then you'll complain about spending $25 on an instrument cable.I know. I've done that. But if you spend all that money on the perfect axe, and all that money on the perfect amp, shouldn't you invest in some quality cables to connect the two?The connectors on the American Stage cable really do sit better. And the cable itself is tough and study.I've run this cable from a Gibson ES acoustic/electric, from a Pono MSD-e electric ukulele, and from a Kala U-bass, to an Orange Tiny Terror with a Weber Legacy 10", and a classic Tweed Fender Deluxe. No matter what combination I've run, this cable makes lows a bit more pronounced, highs a bit smoother, and mid more articulate. And best of all, they add ZERO noise. And before you stop and think "Oh, he's just saying all this cuz he got the cable for free"... I'd already bought a 10 foot & a 15 foot cable two months before I got the 20 footer.I have no complains and now won't buy anything else. Now, if only they'd make 6" and 12" connector cables like this...

Great Low Capacitance Cable: Planet Waves American Stage, 10 Foot, Dual Right Angled Plugs
I purchased this 10 foot cable, with dual right angled plugs, to connect my pedal board to anamplifier. My preference is to use 2 right angled plugs because of the fear that something willfall on them, bend them or break them. Indeed, I had a solid body guitar slip and hit one pluggedinto an amp and it bent the connection enough that it does not fit correctly anymore. This cable, like other cables I have purchased from Planet Waves, are well made and durable.I occasionally walk on them or unintentionally abuse them and they are holding without anyvisible wear or no sonic degradation. They have very good, and well known, Neutrik plugs with very good strain relief where the plugmeets the wire. These cables are also very easy to coil and can't say that about all the cablesI own.The wonderful part is that the 'American Stage' cables have a 28pF/Ft. capacitance. This is thenumber, from my understanding, that we should be paying attention when purchasing guitarcables. The lower the number the less resistance there will be. This supposedly helps the cablebehave more efficiently.I have two other Planet Waves American Stage 20 foot cables for use with my electric guitarsand they have been holding up very well under moderate use.5 Stars for this cable because it is well made, works with no interference or noise, coils as easyas pie AND is made in the good 'ole USA. Definitely recommended, especially for the price point.I couldn't be happier...well, yeah I could be happier. Buy me that 1959 Gibson Les Paul. Then I could be happier.

Best 1/4" guitar cables for your money, anywhere around!
Awesome guitar cables! I've owned Monster, Mogami, even George Lynch cables and these are equally just as good as all those i just mentioned without any question, but for a cheaper price, awesome quality, and value for your money, in fact these are my go to guitar cables from now on, they are the only ones trust and own! Try a set and see for yourself, you won't be dissapointed!

Dia 10/09/21 vou lançar o comparativo no meu perfil do instagram. Vale cada centavo.
