I measured my daughter before buying her this dress, & ordered the size closest to what I measured. The dress fit perfectly and wasn't too short. I just bought a second dress for my neice in purple I'm hoping for a correct fit. My daughter loves the built in bra & the dress overall.

Super cute dress. However the bust was huge. Had to pay to pay a tailor as much as I paid for the dress to have it altered. Still, it turned out beautiful on my daughter, and there was not another girl with an identical dress at homecoming. One thing that drove me nuts is that there is a back flap that goes behind the lace of the bodice. It would slide up from behind the lace. Easy fix if want to safety pin it to he inside so it doesn't travel up.

I ordered several dresses to try from Amazon for my daughter's homecoming (thank you prime and free returns!) since our local dress shopping options are limited. This dress was beautiful and arrived nicely packaged. I am always worried about the workmanship on these dresses from Asia but this dress is top notch. It is extremely cute and I was surprised to see it had a built in bra (not just sewn in cups, but an actual bra clasp thing that you could hook around your back before lacing up the dress. The back of the dress is a corset so sizing is flexible.That said, this dress is going back. My daughter is 5'5", about 118 lbs, and has a 34" bust measurement. We ordered it in 2 different sizes, 4 and 6. The 4 fit properly (with the right amount of space between the corset edges for lacing the ribbon) but it seemed to sit very low on her chest - like there was way too much shoulder and chest area exposed before the dress started. And it wasn't just that the dress was falling-down -- I tried hiking it up, thinking that I could just sew some straps on - but it was in the right place - the top of this dress just needs to be a little taller. I thought maybe the 6 would provide better coverage and it did (a bit) but then the corset edges touched each other in the back so there was no room to lace the ribbon through. And it still looked like the top line of the bust was too low - the proportions were off somehow (but not as bad as with the 4).If she had been head-over-heels in love with this dress, I could have made it work by taking the 6 to a seamstress and having her remove the corset loops, install a zipper, and maybe a piece of trim along the top edge to raise the bust coverage up a bit. But she actually fell in love with one of the other dresses, so this one is going back. It is a nice high quality dress and if the bust area was just a tiny bit taller/higher, it would have fit perfectly.

The dress arrived on time and in good condition. My only complaint is that the inner material is so thick and hot. Really don't skimp on the measurements though, I tried to order closer to my normal size and as you can see if you look closely, it's a bit snug over my pudge. Maybe with a waist trainer it will be ok. Cute dress though!

I am not much of a girly girl, but my 21st birthday is coming up and decided to go all out! I let the maker know I was worried it would not be here in time for my scheduled birthdat pictures and was wondering if I could pay extra for her to send it early. She sent it the next day with no extra charge! I am absolutely in love with this dress! The built in bra is wonderful, I highly recommend to anyone!

Overall my daughter loved this dress! And it was put together better than I expected for the price. It was a little loose in the bust so I had to snug it in a little there, and let it out a bit at the waist, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the seam allowance was an inch+ on either side giving me more than enough to work with and alter the dress to fit my daughter (larger girl with an hourglass figure). With some minor alterations the dress fit great and she was thrilled.Not knocking down the rating because I had to alter. Let's face it, no 2 girls figures are the same and if you're looking for that perfect fit, you have to alter a dress or have it custom made.

This homecoming dress was not what we expected. While the color was good, it was not a well made as we wanted. The sides where the black material met the pink had a ridge in it that no matter what we tried to make it smooth down, it would continue to show, so the black stuck out away from the pink. For someone with an hourglass shape, that isn't very flattering. The flap in the back to cover the corset ribbon wan't very big and was hard to keep in place while cinching the corset. We ended up sending this back, as there were too many flaws to allow my daughter to wear it to the dance.

I adore this new dress! It's amazingly well made, has several options for adjusting the fit like the laces in back and an inside stretchy bra style strap for keeping it snug around the ribs. I was too chicken to buy my size based on my measurements so I bought a size larger, but you can safely buy your correct size as long as you measure yourself. The best part is it can adjust by almost a full size! I noticed the color is much more brilliant than the pastel color that shows on the website, but it's stunning! I'm pretty busty so I always add straps to these corset style dresses just to feel more "lifted and secure." Add a little shrug (I have a black lacy one) and you even have your arms covered. I'm a big girl and it's still super flattering. I can't wait to get another one; I just can't decide which color yet!
