ORKSUN JF201 Smart Circle Wireless Mountable LED Light (Ceiling)

I initially bought this because the light in my walk in closet was out and I was too lazy to fix it (I needed to install a whole new fixture), but needed something in the interim. When I put it in the closet, it worked to cast a little light but was really way too dim for what I wanted it to be, and so it actually spurred me to just fix the light.So feeling all sorts of underwhelmed I put it in the hall closet and went about my day. Later that evening I opened the closet to get something and TA-DAH! This was the space where that little light could really shine! (haha) I had forgotten about it completely, and the sensor picked up on the movement of the door as it opened and turned it on. In a smaller space like a hall closet it is perfect. It comes on every time I open the door, turns itself off, and illuminates well for the enclosed space. Now I am going to order more for other small enclosed spaces, like cupboards, under the sink, etc.

I'm quite impressed with this light. I needed a shower light, but didn't want to eat the cost of an electrician, so this light was the answer. It's really bright and looks like a permanent light fixture - hard to believe it runs on batteries. I've given it a few weeks to see how long batteries would last, etc and absolutely no problems. Batteries are still good, light is still bright, I couldn't be more thrilled!A few other things (which is why I docked a star) is that the installation was a little bit difficult. It would have been great to include the screws for hanging. Luckily I had some spare screws that fit. The light twists onto a bracket, which was difficult to line up. The motion sensor is good, but the ranges are a bit weird. I can walk across the room and it comes on, but I could wave my hands near it and it might not come on the first time. It worries me that the batteries might run out if it comes on just while I walk into my bathroom.All in all, this is the best solution of you don't want to pay an electrician for a shower light. I highly recommend giving this a try.

This may sound a little dramatic, but this is a life changer for me. My shower is very dark. So I put this on the ceiling above the knobs and shower head. As soon as I step into the shower, it turns on. It turns on every time. I had an issue where it was turning on when I was in the bathroom but not using the shower, so I shielded one side of the sensor with a piece of white electrical tape.The light output is modest. A little lower than I was expecting. But I am ordering another one to supplement it.The one thing that can cause it to go out while I shower is if I forget to turn the exhaust fan on. Then steam covers the sensor and makes it less effective.I'd recommend this to anyone.

I'd go 3.5 but Amazon doesn't do halvsies. So, these lights are great. They have a pretty wide range to pick up motion for sure so if they are in a high traffic area they will pop on pretty often. If the light is somewhere like a closet with low traffic, the batteries will last for roughly eternity. The high traffic area lights batteries need changing once a month easily(I'd recommend some rechargeable batteries). The lights do their job and are definitely bright enough especially when the area is fully dark. The price was right, they were a nice alternative to wiring lights especially when money isn't unlimited.

This is the BEST product I have ever purchased. For 20 years I have showered in a DARK shower (due to a short wall that blocks off the bathroom vanity lights. This is a wonderful unique product and would definitely recommend to anyone that has a dark shower stall. Easy to install (although my son had to do it for me) as it goes in the ceiling of the stall. Price is wonderful for such a small and unique product. Highly recommend and no more dark showers.

Bought for use as an under-stairs closet light. At first I was very satisfied with the product: easy to mount and triggered without issue. The LED's put off sufficient light. The trouble I've had is the batteries go dead relatively rapidly (on the order of weeks), even with very little use. I've noticed light coming from under the door of the closet at all times of day, which means the unit is triggering its motion detection randomly (draining the battery in the process).I have a wireless router in the same closet with blinking status lights, I'm beginning to think that might be to blame. All I can say is the motion detection is too sensitive for my purpose. Other than that, it appears to be a product of decent quality.

I am so pleased with this light. I first bought it for over my kitchen sink in our cabin. We didn't want to wire a light in so we tried this one. It was ok, but not quite bright enough. And the motion detector caused it to turn on so often the batteries wore out rapidly. Then my husband decided to put it under a staircase where he had storage. That light has found its perfect home. It lights up the area beautifully and the motion detector which turns it on is so helpful in this area. The spot and the light were made for each other.

I got this to go in the enclosed shower in our guest bathroom. It is half walled off and subsequently very dark inside. I ordered one of these to try and I'm glad I did. I didn't have to drill through the fiberglass (I used 3M outdoor grade 2 sided tape to mount it to the ceiling) and hassle with wiring. The motion sensor works well and the light stays on while you're showering. Just enough light for that small space (See before and after photos). The IP44 rating should be enough to withstand the steam and small amount of spray that may actually get on it. Money well spent.Update: Moisture killed this light after just a few uses so I'm dropping the rating from 5 to 2 stars. I don't think it got any direct splashing, just a little steam. I opened it up and there was no sign of moisture but the light wouldn't turn off. As long as there were batteries in it it would stay on. Disappointing.
