Tutto Embroidery Bag (Medium, Large, X-Large) (Black, 26-Inch)

This bag is for an embroidery arm of a home sewing machine. This is the largest one they sell and it fits the arm of my Brother Dream Machine nicely. My machine came with Brother luggage when I purchased it but I was always afraid my embroidery arm would be damaged in the lightly padded and very snugly fitting Brother case. I've had Tutto cases before so I decided to purchase this and the Machine on Wheels bag in place of my Brother luggage. This bag has a nicely padded area for the arm along with straps to keep the arm in place. It's not only great for transporting the arm but makes safe storage possible. The case has room inside for quite a bit of embroidery thread, notions and project materials. This bag can be carried by the handles or over the shoulder. I do have the matching wheeled case for my sewing machine and this case can be laid flat along the top of it, but it's a bit awkward since this is so large. The materials seem sturdy and the zippers work easily. I'm very happy with this bag.

I am very frustrated with this product. There is nothing anywhere that tells you which way your embroidery unit should fit in the bag. Not even on Tutto’s website. I ordered the 26” bag after finally finding ONE review that stated it fit the DreamMaker 2200. Well, it fits sideways BUT, even though the Tutto website shows that the 26” bag has the straps that attach from top to bottom inside, it does not and only has the cross straps. I can not tighten it in a way that the until doesn’t slide down and the put weight on the arm. The moveable pieces that you use to help everything fit snug do not fit if you have the unit in sideways. I really don’t know what to do. I’m also irritated it’s $34 less today than when I ordered it 2 days ago so I’m going to call about that. It also appears to have been purchased and returned as the papers covers were off and there was some, what appears to be, pet hair in it. I really wish there were mire options out there for these units.

I bought this to hold the embroidery unit on my Bernina 750QE. It holds it with room to spare. That being said, I would expect a lot more padding to go around the arm unit instead of a few elastic straps, and some foam pieces. There is hardly any padding where the top and bottom of the unit and arm are which is truly unacceptable for something meant to transport a unit worth several thousand dollars. I would be scared to transport my unit anywhere with this unless it was sitting somewhere it couldn't get jostled or bumped. And I definitely would not set it so that the carrying handle is on top, there is no protection for your unit that way. It works for me at home to keep it protected from dust and accidental bumping but that's a pretty expensive dust cover...

Even well the box this item was shipped in was damaged, the actual item itself was in perfect shape. The color was very rich and the material was very durable. The compartment for the embroidery unit came with two straps on each side and a strap on the bottom to securely hold your embroidery unit in place. They also had two long pieces of covered foam with velcro on it to further protect your embroidery unit. The black board was covered and also served to protect the embroidery unit but also allows you to store other items such as material and tools. There is definitely no shortage of space for your project. That being said I had purchased this item to go with the Tutto XL Sewing tote. The coloring was a perfect match, but this particular case was much too large for my Sewing tote. You can still use it and strap it on top, but it just did not look right and was awkward. I rated this 5 stars because the product itself was made very well and the coloring was great and matched my Sewing tote. If I had a larger embroidery unit or larger Sewing tote I would definitely want to keep this item. I will buy a smaller embroidery project bag in the future.

I really like the tote itself. However, I primarily use it for storage, I have put my embroidery unit in and out approximately 4 to 5 times. The last time I went to secure it into the case one of the straps snapped off where it was attached. I contacted Altman and apparently after 11 months if something happens it is not replaceable. Not very good customer care.

fantastic condition this bag was gently used - the padding is in great condition all parts were included - noting missing. I wanted this to have a separate project bag that I could put everything needed in this bag - and the rolling trolley will now just have the sewing machine and accessories. love the Tutto project bag it so roomy!

I like the sturdiness, secure straps and pads inside to keep my expensive module secure. Nice side pockets for hoops and anything I'm working on. I keep my module stored in this case to keep it clean and safe. Glad I purchased this.

It takes a BIG bag to fit the embroidery unit that goes with my Brother xv8500d machine.
