This listing is for ONE dried brown quail chick. My friends hatch a huge amount of birds over the spring and summer and casualties are not uncommon. These are the ones that didn't make it. I have added glass eyes to the chicks. They have been dried out and preserved with Borax for use in crafts or as oddities by themselves. Keep him cool and dry and he will last you many years to come! They are stiff and stuck in the position shown and as they are dehydrated they are a little flat. Most are 3 x 2 x 3/4" or close to those dimensions. They are fluffy and fuzzy and yellow and brown. I can kind of detect a bit of earthy or attic-like smell....but no one is going to walk into your house and smell dead quail. If they get stuffy during shipping just stick them on a window sill or in the garage to air out for a few days-no where near cats or dogs though are they will become there new toy.
