I wear a 16/18 and the 3x was huge on me. Since it came from China I expected it to run small but it ran true to side. I should've gotten a 1X. The dress has a lace up detail in the back which helps to loosen or tie it tighter as well as a side zipper. It's also a good heavy quality.
