Catches bugs on the cheap
Why did you pick this product vs others?:No doubt, these things will catch bugs. I had a fungus gnat problem with a couple of freshly purchased indoor house plants, and stuck a few of these sticky traps in the soil. The traps caught a very large number of them over time. Add to that the fact that they are so inexpensive, it's just a great deal for something that works.

Just the right stickiness
The media could not be loaded. Works great! I tape them up anywhere I get flies and gnats. I usually put them near a light source. They will catch anything smaller than a large fly, but not something as strong as a wasp. The glue isn't as strong as some sticky traps, but that can be a good thing...*** IF YOU CATCH SOMETHING YOU WANT TO SAVE ***1. Find some very fine dirt. The more powdery, the better. If no dirt available, flour can be used. Clean clay cat litter may also work. Don't use oils or soap!2. Gently sprinkle dirt over entire sticky surface and trapped critter.3. Shake or tap the glue trap until the dirt (or flour) covers all the stickiness and beneath the trapped critter.4. Use a toothpick, stick, or spoon to gently work the dirt around and under the critter's body and legs. As the critter struggles, the dirt should form a barrier between the parts it frees and the stickiness.5. Once freed from the trap, find a safe place to release the critter. Washing the dirt off is not necessary. Many bugs can lose a leg or two and still recover, some regrowing the part after molting.

Took care of the problem within a couple weeks
We unknowingly brought a plant indoors that was infested with gnats and the problem spread to our other plants. Within a few days of placing these sticky tabs in all of our plant pots, there were notably less of them flying around. After a couple of weeks they were completely gone.

Helpful for lessening those pesky plant pests!
I found little tiny pests in my celery. I put this sticky trap in and it was able to catch the bugs so wonderfully! I wouldn’t count on this as a sole treatment for pests when growing plants but definitely helpful for lessening a problem. These are VERY sticky, so beware when using them. Lots come in a pack so I believe the cost is well worth it. There is no smell to this.

Average gnat killer
This was an average gnat catcher only if gnats are flying really close to it and happen to fly into it. It doesn’t seem to attract the gnats as there were many others that were still hanging around it that didn’t seem interested in it. It’s a great size and fits perfectly inside a plant pot which is where it seems to do its best work. Gnats that you might have in the kitchen don’t seem interested in it. It is odorless and you don’t have to clean it. If it ever got full (which mine did not) you just toss in the trash.

Be patient. They actually work!!
With warm weather returning, so did the little fruit fly gnats. Bane of my existence🤦♀️ I ordered these to put by my fruit bowls where they always congregate. First 3 days, only caught one. I was ready to return these, thinking they might only work for houseplants, then I started seeing one or two more. After a week, there are more than 20 on there!! And I'm not seeing them flying around anymore. So be patient, they actually do work!!!
