Putting my new bedroom together is difficult over the computer. I have always wanted to match colors and get a feel for the fabric, but that isn't possible in this day and age. Anyway, these pillow cases are very classy - they are made extremely well and the fold over that keeps the pillow inside the case is very deep so you don't need to worry about the pillow coming out of the case. I haven’t washed the pillow shams yet, but they look substantial. The soft off white color is perfect with my antique embroidered quilt. Just what I was looking for.

I wanted a plain,quilted lightweight spread for our new adjustable king bed. I’m a quilter and have many quilts but none of them king size. I bought this to put on the bed and use quilts over it. It’s very soft and light weight and color matches most of my quilts.

Does not fit well around pillow

In décor, I take my white tones very seriously. I do not like a bright white. I find it sterile and jarring. If you don't like bright whites either and prefer a creamier, warmer but still "clean" white around your home, THIS is your color. When you choose a "cream" or "off white", you often get that oversaturation of yellow or beige that just looks dull. THIS cream if a genuine, elegant tone. It's uplifting without being stark, and provides that color relief while blending into other color tones. And the embroidery is beautiful. It's not overly ornate or intricate, and provides just enough textual interest to compliment your bed. Lastly, it's not a frail textile. I don't have the "dry clean your shams" kind of lifestyle, so everything in my home, from the curtains to the upholsteries has to be washable. This was a good Amazon buy. Many thumbs up!

They are okay

I looked all over for shams to go with two antique twin quilts that my grandmother made, and am finally very pleased that I found these. I'm very impressed with the thickness and construction of the shams and feel they are a very good value for the price. I purchased the vintage beige/yellow hoping that the color would go best with my quilts's muslim background. The color matches well, but just to be clear, I would actually call the color an antique white or very light beige. The yellow component is quite faint. Hope this helps

Ordering items online for color can be a crap shoot but I got just what I was looking at. The embroidery is very nice machine stitched thread work. I like the zipper in the back. Easy to get the sham off and on again. This is very good value for the price.
