Based on the work of comics sensation J. Scott Campbell and sculpted by the ever-talented Jason Smith, the debut statue in the brand-new "Women of Dynamite" line brings Vampirella, the iconic horror hostess and heroine, to life in all her glory! Hand-painted on cold-cast porcelain, the Vampirella statue stands approximately 12" in height with a 6" base, with each individually numbered as part of a Limited Edition run of 1969 statues (celebrating the year that Vampirella first appeared). The Women of Dynamite: Vampirella Statue comes packaged in a four-color box with a hand-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The ravishing, raven-tressed vampire has never been so beautifully represented in three dimensions, the perfect addition to every hardcore fan's collection!

What Problem?
After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive with ordering this item yet since it was through Amazon I knew I could easily return it. IT'S A GREAT PRODUCT! At least mine arrived in perfect shape. No paint flaws, great packaging, great box, great statue and certificate of authenticity. I will be proud to display this in my collections of Vampirella figurines. I just wish other figures were as inexpensive.

I glued with gorilla glue and fixed. If you are a Vampirella fan this is a must... haven't seen the B&W to compare but they say all problems have been resolved??Here's a picture of the one I got and you can decide for yourself.

A Disappointing Dud From Dynamite...
After looking forward to receiving this all year (Dynamite's notorious for pushing release dates back, just like Sideshow), I am sorry to say it's incredibly disappointing on all levels. It's cast from an extremely lightweight porcelain(?) and weighs less than 2 pounds, which means it's porous + waiting to fall apart. The cape is attached to her hands at a very weak wrist - another accident awaiting. Her arms are joined below her armbands, and poorly at that. The 1st one I received was broken at that joint + had to be returned...it's boxed poorly w/ Styrofoam that doesn't really accommodate the cape properly - another tragedy awaits...Now we come to the mold problems - there are multiple rough spots that require sanding, which can't be done once painted, unless you're skilled enough to airbrush her entire body in flesh-coat.No resin or polystone is utilized, so it's VERY fragile as mentioned. But I can't stress this enough - it's cheaply made for the 2 bills you're shelling out for her. Then there are the paint issues - sloppy lines on Vampi's boots, costume, bracelets, etc., and her face needed a few more details as well. And the base is hastily and weakly executed w/ all the customary clichés that sit flat and lack depth or detail. And she's only around 9 1/2 inches tall - 12 inches includes the base. So, not 1/6th scale. Finally, after telling us that the statue was to be strictly limited to 1969 pieces (the year she first graced our eyes), the box plainly states that there are diamond eye versions, B+W versions AND artist proofs, bringing the corrected total up to 2317 pieces in all. So much for honesty from these rats.I own around 28 Vampirella statues; some I made + painted myself, some bought from other artists + collectors, but this one I ended up returning - it wasn't adding to my collection one iota. And I'm usually a completest, but this one lacks 'bite'...Sorry, very sorry in fact, to be bearer of bad news, but you should lower your expectations accordingly if planning on parting w/ your hard-earned coin.
